Color Throwdown #58

Are you ready to handle another Color Throwdown? This week my super-talented friend Barbara Anders is our hostess and she has picked this pretty color combo for you to try!

We also have a sponsor for this week's challenge, and it's Denise January! Denise is an Independent Stampin' Up! demonstrator, and she's offering a really nice prize for one lucky participant as well as a great offer to anyone who wants to place an order from her. Check out all the details on the Throwdown blog! Remember too that we'll pick one person as our Featured Stamper for next week out of all the entries this week! That person ends up in the running to be our November Guest Designer!

And speaking of that... it's a new month so that means we have a new Guest Designer! Please help us welcome Kristin Bueter! Kristin is an awesome designer and we're so happy to have her on board with us this month! Be sure to check out her awesome card for today's challenge!

For my card today, I borrowed some SU! stamps from one of the girls at the store who is a demo. (waving HI to Heather!) I colored these flowers with my old, trusty SU! markers, then lightly misted the stamp with water before stamping for a slightly blurred effect. Then I used a Quickie glue pen to add a little glitter to the flower centers.
Stop by and see what my Throwdown Sisters have created for this challenge!

Have fun with this challenge! Happy stamping, and thanks for stopping by!

What a beautiful card!! I LOVE the patterned paper you used and how you colored the stems and the petals on the main image. I really adore how you stitched the accent panel to the background! I have to try that!!! Oh and I can’t forget to mention that beautiful bow! One of my FAVORITE embellishments :O)

Thank you so much for the kind words about me :] You made me smile ear to ear!

This is beautiful, Tammy. I've always loved that image and you did it proud. Love the added sparkle, and I agree with Broni--that polka dotted panel just sets it off!
