Just Rite Font Hop

Welcome to another stop on the JustRite Font Mega Blog Hop today! I am one of the lucky participants (there are 54 altogether!) to get to show you some more fun ideas using all the great fonts available from JustRite Stampers! And in conjunction with this Blog Hop, JustRite is celebrating with a Super 7 Day Font Sale! Take 30% off all the JustRite Font sets, and the horizontal and vertical stampers! This sale begins today and ends on September 24th.

For my projects today, I have chosen to use the Curlz Uppercase Font set. My first project is something that was completely inspired by Ms. Fabulous, Sharon Johnson! Sharon posted a spectacular Christmas project at this time last year on the Just Rite blog that I have always loved, so I adapted my own version of it for Thanksgiving, using the Curlz 95 pt. font to spell out "GIVE THANKS". Each letter was stamped on Natural Ivory cardstock with Versamark and Rhubarb Stalk Memento ink, then clear embossed. My panels are all covered with the new Indian Summer paper from Basic Grey and I've accessorized with some Zva felt flowers, a stamped pumpkin, and stamped leaves from Melanie Muenchinger's new "A Year of Leaves" stamp set. Some jumbo eyelets, buttons, brads and ribbon finished off my project!

To create the accordian-fold panels, I cut 2 pieces of cardstock 3 1/2" x 9" and one piece of cardstock 3 1/2" x 8". Then each piece was scored using a Scor-Pal at 2" intervals, flipping the cardstock with each score.
I'm so pleased to be able to display this with all my other Fall decorations! Many thanks for Sharon for her awesome inspiration!
For my second project, I created something that's a little play on words. At the end of next month, we'll be hearing the words "Trick or Treat!" a lot! So I decided to create a "Treats for Tricks" jar for our family dog! This is going to look so great on my kitchen counter with some other Halloween decor! And Dexter is such a good dog, so he deserves some treats!

I again used the Curlz Uppercase Font set, this time using the smallest font, the 25 pt. to create the sentiment around the border "Treats for Tricks" and on the lid of the jar. I used some new Bo Bunny Halloween papers for my jar with matching buttons, my Nestabilities, and some ribbon from Creative Impressions.

Be sure to check out ALL the other blog hop participants today for more inspiration! They are all linked below! AND, there is Mystery Blog Candy being given away during this awesome 2-day event! Why is it a mystery? Well, there will be 3 prizes given away each day and you can only win by leaving a comment on the right blog! Which blog is the right one? That's the mystery! Not even the designers know who it's going to be! So as you visit each of the 54 designers over the next two days, take time to leave a comment! Who knows... the lucky winner could be YOU! You have until Sunday at noon EST to leave a comment for your chance to win. Check the JustRite blog on Sunday evening to find out who won!

Here's your official "Hop List" for today!

Thank you SO much for visiting my blog along the way! I'd love to know what you think of my creations! Happy stamping!

Cute projects! The home decor one is so simple but elegant and they cost a fortune to buy! And the doggie jar is way too cute!
