Trick or Treat!

Happy Halloween, everyone! Doing a quickie-blog post this morning to share with you a few last Halloween cards I've made. These are all (including the "King of the Wild Things" card I posted yesterday) for some of my favorite little kids at church today, along with some CANDY of course! I was up late finishing them last night, and have to get going this morning, so very brief details are below each card, and I'll edit later with more specific links, etc.

Have a wonderful Sunday!

Let's Get CrAzY!

It's time to get crazy again this week with the Crazy 4 Challenges girls, and Silke is finishing up her stint as our October hostess with a fun sketch challenge for you to try, as seen above!

I still need to make a few Halloween goodies before Sunday, so I used the sketch to make a card for a favorite little buddy of mine. This image is the King of the Wild Things from Stamping Bella, and I've paired the King up with some Bo Bunny papers. He's colored (of course!) with Copic markers on my favorite Flourishes Classic White cardstock.
On the inside, I used a sentiment from Impression Obsession, and some more of the Bo Bunny paper.
Stop over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog where you'll find Mr. Linky so you can show us your creation using this sketch! And for inspiration, visit my Crazy Sisters!

Thanks you bunches for stopping by, and have a GREAT weekend!

Believe....

... in the magic of Santa!

It's time once again for a new release from My Time Made Easy, and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! This release will fulfill all your Christmas stamping needs with fabulous stamp sets and templates that will make your gift-giving so easy this year! I of course, will have several cards for you to see between now and next Friday and the other girls on the team will have some cards and those fabulous templates to inspire you! Be sure to stop at Lauren's blog everyday for complete details!

For my card today I am using the Secret Santa stamp set, and Kristin's fabulous digital papers called Candy Shoppe Stripes! I stamped, colored and cut out the Santa hat to mount on the letter B, and added some Polar White Flower Soft to the hat for fluff!
As I said, make sure you're stopping at Lauren's blog each day to see her incredible creations and today you can also check out goodies from Kristin, Catherine, Debbie, Tangii and Katie, as well as a new addition to the team, Monique!

Enjoy all the sneak peeks, and thanks for visiting my blog today!

Color Throwdown #116

We're getting into the Christmas Spirit this week with these colors for the Throwdown, hosted by LeAnne! Riding Hood Red has quickly become my most-favorite shade of red, so I had no objections at all to this color combo! I hope you'll love it too, and play along!

My card uses one of the most popular Christmas stamps I think I have ever had at Toyrifix! I had this in stock last year and re-ordered it several times. Got it out again this year and I have ordered it twice already and need to place another order this week to get more! It's definitely a favorite, and comes from Verses Rubber Stamps right here in Ohio! I used some new Basic Grey "Jovial" paper on my card, and the layout is from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge #97 this week.
Visit the Throwdown blog for all the challenge details and inspiration from the design team! Or just stop by their blogs....

Far Out, Groovy Girl!

I always read about the Wednesday Stamp Club challenge in the My Favorite Things forum on SCS every week, and always have good intentions of playing along but somehow it just never happens. The challenge this week is called "It's in the Bag" and the challenge is to create a treat bag for any occasion. When I got this new Groovy Girl a'la mode in an order at the store today, I knew I was finally going to make time to join in! I thought the Groovy Girl would go perfectly with the fabulous rainbow colors of these gumballs! It's so much fun to combine bright colors and make something so cheery like this! My image is colored with Copic markers, and the sentiment was stamped on a Sentiment Flag die cut from Lil' Inker Designs! (Perfect, everytime!)
Thanks for stopping by! Stay tuned for another Color Throwdown tomorrow!

The Apple of My Eye

I knew the moment I saw this Apple of My Eye stamp set from Flourishes last month that I was going to love coloring these apples! I actually did color them, several weeks ago and finally took some free time this weekend to make a card using the image. I'm so happy with how it turned out! Doesn't this make you just want to pluck one of those delicious fruits right from the branch and take a bite? :) I love to go apple picking and haven't had time this Fall to do so. I'll have to settle for apples that someone else already picked, I guess.

The Gingham background here is a Cover-a-Card background stamp from Impression Obsession. I just LOVE those awesome backgrounds they have, along with the Mega-Mount handle used to stamp them. I have some at the store, but definitely need to order more including the gingham. I stamped this on Kraft cardstock using Barn Door distress ink, and also stamped the sentiment on Kraft using the distress ink.
I had a wonderful weekend.... I hope you did, too! Thanks for stopping by!

C4C60 - Boo-Frickity-Hoo!

Boo-Frickity-Hoo! Don't you just love that sentiment? It cracks me up! Our Crazy challenge for this week (hosted by the uber-talented Silke Ledlow) is to create a Halloween card. So I pulled out some of my very long-neglected Rubbernecker stamps and created this card today, using some Making Memories paper and the SCS sketch challenge from this past week for the layout.
We'd love to have you play along this week! Stop at the C4C blog for all the details, and there you'll find Mr. Linky too so you can show us your creation! And the Crazy Girls have awesome inspiration for you on their blogs, too!

Have a GREAT weekend, and thanks for stopping by!

Color Throwdown #115

Hey, hey! Did you think I forgot about the Color Throwdown today? Nah.... I was just way too sleepy by the time I finished my card last night so I'm posting this morning for your viewing pleasure (at least I hope it's a pleasure!)

Laura, the Lil' Inker herself is our hostess this week and when I first saw the colors I thought "what??????" But when I saw where she got her inspiration from and realized these are the colors in the Matilda paper from Cosmo Cricket, I knew I'd love creating for this week's challenge!

My cute little witch here is the Witch Eye Brew digital image from Chicken Girl Designs, and she only has eyes for YOU! Isn't she scary, stewing up her big black cauldron of eyeballs? LOL I LOVED giving her green skin! She is paired with the aforementioned Matilda paper and some other supplies from the i {heart} papers store including the Circle and Labels 3 Nestabilities, Copic markers, 3/4" purple crepe ribbon, and the natural twine string. Are you tired yet of seeing that awesome little Sentiment Flag die from Lil' Inker Designs? I sure hope not! I LOVE using it, and you will too! Head on over to the Lil' Inker store and get yourself one along with the matching stamp set! (one of these days.... when I have time LOL.... I'm going to show you how I computer-generate my sentiment and still manage to perfectly cut it out with the die even though I can't see through the die to line it up!)

I also used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge #96 for the layout!
I hope you'll make some time to play along today or later in the week! The color combo might seem intimidating but stop on over at the Throwdown blog to be inspired! Or just visit my Throwdown sisters blogs!

LeAnne Pugliese (taking the week off.... rest up, LeAnne!)

Crazy 4 Challenges #59

Happy weekend everyone! I'm SO glad the weekend is here! Saturday brings us around to another challenge with those Crazy Girls, and this week Silke is challenging everyone to create a Fall-themed card! Easy-peasy.... everyone can play along this week! No excuses! :)

I just got this cute new Pure Innocence stamp from My Favorite Things at the store this week, and since I plan to use her for an upcoming Copic class, I thought I'd just get her inky now and use her for my card today. She's so darn cute, lugging that big punkin' she picked! This set has some really great sentiments in it, too! I paired the image with this sweet new paper I recently got from Teresa Collins. The stars just really spoke to me.... LOVE the colors! There is an orange star too, but it got covered up! Not exactly Fall-themed paper but it kinda' makes me think of those big tin stars you see on people's houses and barns, so I went with it. I added some stitching around the paper and some distress ink in Tea Dye. The Riding Hood Red cardstock peeking out at the top is stamped with a Cover-a-Card background stamp from Impression Obsession, too.... it's the Distressed Corduroy stamp. My other cardstock colors here are Marine Mist and Tangerine Tango.
Stop over at the Crazy 4 Challenges blog and see what the other girls have created for today, and be inspired! Or you can just visit their blogs...

Thanks a bunch for stopping by today, and have a fantastic weekend!

Color Throwdown #114

Kristin is our hostess this week for Color Throwdown #114, and she has chosen these really pretty colors that are so versatile! I think we'll see some fabulous creations this week using these colors!

For my card, I decided to use this sweet bear with a warm cup of tea to make someone feel better! She's from the "A Cuppa" set from The Cat's Pajamas. I paper-pieced the apron with the Pear Tart designer paper from Stampin' Up!, used my new Rolled Flower Die-Namics from My Favorite Things for the flower embellishments, and used my Sentiment Flag die from Lil' Inker Designs! I could use that flag on every card, I think!
Stop by the Throwdown blog for all the challenge details, and visit my Throwdown sisters for inspiration!

Crazy4Challenges #58

It's been another crazy week in my life, so I'll cap it off with another challenge with the Crazy Girls! Silke Ledlow is our hostess for October and today she's challenging us to create a birthday card, because her birthday is in October! So I got to work....

I just LOVE this cute little kitty from Stamping Bella called Mavis! Isn't she adorable? I just got a few Mavis stamps at the store on Friday so I couldn't resist inking up Swingin' Mavis here for my birthday card. I also inked up my Sentiment Flags stamps from Laura at Lil' Inker Designs for the birthday sentiment, and cut it out with her exclusive die! My layout was inspired by the Sketch for You to Try for this week.... got that sneak peek on Friday night by being a Facebook fan! (Are you a fan?)
Stop at the Crazy4Challenges blog for all the details for this week, and also because the challenge is being sponsored again this week by Verve and one lucky participant will win a $25 gift certificate! And stop by their blogs to see what the other Crazy Girls have come up with to inspire you!

Happy stamping, and have a FABULOUS weekend!

My Time Made Easy Group Post Day

So, I woke up this morning after a night of difficulty sleeping to the realization that today is already October 5th, and it's Group Post Day with all the girls from the My Time Made Easy team! Whoooops! Last-Minute Lucy to the rescue.....

Luckily it was one of those days when I had an idea pop into my head pretty quickly! For my card I have used the new A Lil' Cafe stamp set, creating kind of a lonely little scene to let someone know they are missed. The sentiment comes from the new Grab a Cup Sentiments set, and I have found that so many of the stamps in this set work perfectly with my Sentiment Flag die from my friend Laura Pryor at Lil' Inker Designs! Krisin created some more fabulous paper this month including this cute coffee cup-printed paper from the All Steamed Up collection. It matches so perfectly with the papers from the Shutterfly collection, so I used the polka dot paper as an accent.
Stop and see what the rest of the MTME girls have for you to see today.... you'll absolutely LOVE the Pinch Me! template they're sharing!

Have a good one!

Crazy4Challenges #57 with Verve

Hey Crazy People... it's Saturday and time for another Crazy Challenge! We're up to #57 this week, and have a special surprise as the challenge is being sponsored by Verve! One lucky participant in this week's challenge is going to win a $25 gift certificate from Verve! So stop on over at the C4C blog for the challenge details, and there you will also find Mr. Linky so you can add your own creation for this week! We're doing a color challenge, as you can see here and our hostess for the month of October is Silke Ledlow!
For my card, I chose to use a Plain Jane stamp from Verve called Philippians 4:4 because it's always been a verse to me that just says it all.... REJOICE! There are so many reasons to rejoice in the Lord every single day! I also used the Grateful Elegance stamp set.... I have always loved the pretty flowers in this set! And of course, being Last-Minute Lucy like I am you know I just made this card last night and luckily Jen had her Sketch for You to Try for today posted on Facebook last night and I found it to be just what I needed to get this card done!
Stop and see what the other Crazies have created for today's challenge and be inspired to create!

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend, and enjoying the beautiful Autumn! Happy stamping!

My Time Made Easy New Release Day!

The wait is over.... today is New Release Day for stamps, papers and templates at My Time Made Easy! This is the biggest release ever, and will give you SO many options for gift giving with the upcoming holiday season!

Now, as I said last month my design team commitments for Lauren involve making cards with the awesome stamps and papers, and I don't have the fancy cutting machines like the other girls, so cards are better for me, anyway. But occasionally I can't resist the templates as you can see today! And this just goes to show you too, that you don't need a Cricut to create some of these amazing gifts!

This is the new In Suspense template and I simply printed out the pdf file onto designer paper and cut it all out by hand! The little window in the front is done with the Labels 4 Nestabilities, and the circle on the handle was done with a circle Nestie. And take note, the front part of this template is too wide to feed through my Cuttlebug to cut the window, but if you score all the lines first you can just fold the flaps in over the Nestie before you pass it through the Cuttlebug so it fits! The stamps I used here (the sentiment and pumpkin) are from the new set A Spooky Surprise.
Ever since I saw these Jack O'Lantern Lindoor truffles, I knew I wanted to try to make this In Suspense box so I can "boo" someone! This hangs perfectly on a door knob, so make one up yourself, take it over to the neighbors, ring the doorbell and RUN! :)

Now, before you go running over to BOO! your neighbors, run on over to Lauren's blog for all the new release details! And then stop and see what all the MTME girls have created to inspire you today! Make sure to take a moment when you visit Debbie's blog to give her a special shout-out as she's gone from October Guest Designer to a permanent member of our team!

Happy shopping and happy stamping! Thank you so much for stopping by, and Happy Friday!
