Watermelon Seeds of Kindness

Hello friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend and Easter holiday! Mine was nice and restful, and today is my day off so I'm very thankful for the "down" time!

This card I have to share with you today was made for the Featured Stamper challenge at Splitcoaststampers on Sunday. TheresaCC is the Featured Stamper and I chose this card from her gallery to CASE for the challenge. This cute Watermelon Bear is a Little Lovin' stamp from the Stamp Oasis line at Rubbernecker. I was initially not interested in these stamps, but when you hear why I love them now, you will too! The turn-off for me was the thick black line around the outside of the image! Look at the Little Lovin' page on the Rubbernecker site, and you'll see what I mean. But when you look at my colored image, you don't really notice it, do you? AND you know what else? That slightly thicker outline gives you just a tiny bit more of a margin when you're blending with your Copics before the ink might start to bleed! I have several more of these stamps to share with you, so stay tuned! I'll be getting them inky soon!

I paired this image with a sentiment from the JustRite Seeds of Kindness 1 5/8" stamp set.
And speaking of several more of these images, I have an extra Watermelon Bear to give away! Dave accidentally sent me one too many in my recent order, so I am giving the extra one away! If you'd like a chance to have your own Watermelon Bear stamp, just leave a comment here and I will draw a random winner on Tuesday evening at 9:00 p.m. EST.

Thanks for stopping by! Happy Monday!

He is cute! I don't have any Rubbernecker stamps & I'd love to win him. Watermelons are fun to color.

He's just adorable, Tammy! Yes, I see what you mean about the thick line, and yes, I also agree you don't notice it once it's colored. Awesome coloring, BTW :)

I have always LOVED watermelon! One year I asked for a watermelon with candles instead of a cake for my birthday....I was excited to have my wish granted. Winning this stamp would be fantastic.
