Color Throwdown #207
The weeks are just flyin’ by lately… I can’t believe we’re up to Color Throwdown #207 already! Lori is our hostess this week with these sweet summer colors! I just loved this color combo, and I hope you’ll enjoy it, too!
For my card, I used the Sketch Challenge #86 for last week from My Favorite Things, but kept my design a little on the clean and simple side…. completely outside my normal style, but I’m quite pleased with how this turned out.
I paired up some old Stampin’ Up designer paper with a new (to me!) ala’ modes stamp from MFT. This one is called I’ve Got UR Back and I just love those big bold letters… so fun for paper-piecing! I colored with Copics on X-Press It Blending cardstock and embellished with some green die-cuts… the Little Open Scallop Strip, Lead the Way, and Mini Tabs Foursome Die-Namics. A few hot pink rhinestones finished off my card!
Need some more inspiration with these colors? Visit my Throwdown sisters...
Stop over at the Color Throwdown blog for all the challenge details, and play along!
And hey, don’t forget… there are still quite a few great stamps to be had at great prices over on my Stamps for Sale page! Happy stamping!
