I LOVE U!

The TCP Tuesday challenge from The Cat's Pajamas a few weeks ago was to use any stamps that have the word "love" or hearts. Well, I've been wanting to break out my Cut-Ups Pennant dies from The Cat's Pajamas for the longest time, so I finally got busy with them and created this little Valentine banner! This will go on display at my store so my customers can see how fun these dies are, and I hope to create some more seasonal designs with these dies to inspire my customers further!

The teddy bear in the center is from the Bear Hugs stamp set, and the "love" stamped on his heart is from the Love Letters stamp set. I paper pieced the heart with some of the My Mind's Eye paper that I used for the whole banner. The letters I and U are from the Babydoll Alphabet set... a must-have set to use with these pennant dies. The heart on the left with the letter I is a new Cut-Ups die, the Heart Trio. I embellished with some buttons and Divine Twine, and stitched around the border of each pennant on my sewing machine. Not too many embellishments... I want customers to see it and think "I can do that!" (I know the photo is a little small. It's so hard to photograph things like this, but if you click on it you can enlarge.)
Now, to find some extra time this weekend... I want to make one of these and send it to my Mom, and maybe one for each of my daughters, too! They're both going away this weekend to a Youth group gathering and I thought it'd be fun for them to come home and find one of these hanging in their bedrooms!

Happy stamping! Thanks for stopping by!

Tammy, this is great, love the pennant.. gotta do this!
I wanted to mention that on my computer the background page totally hides the print on your site, and I could not even see it enough to find the contact info to mention it privately. maybe just my computer, but your words are almost invisible with the color scheme... and I value your work and words too much to not say anything!
