Flourishes New Release #2 - Father's Day

It's the second day of new release sneak peeks at Flourishes and today we've got the new Father's Day set to share with you, another fabulous silhouette stamp set from the creative mind of Lauren Pope!

My card today features one of the three images from the set, stamped in Imperial Blue Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder.  I cut out the image with a Labels Ones Nestabilities die, and added a sentiment flag cut with a Nested Pennant die and attached with a silver mini library clip.  The papers I used on my card are from the Authentique "Loyal" paper pad and my card layout is from the Card Positioning Systems sketch #264.

Would you like to win this new set? All you need to do is leave some love in the form of a comment on the blogs below! Why? You need to try to figure out…..

One of the ladies on our link list below will be picking a name from the comments on her blog post today. We don’t know which one it is… so the more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances you have to win!

Oh, that sentiment is WONDERFUL!! Love the bright papers you used for your card, too - I've always tended towards the dull ones for men - thanks for steering me away from that!

Hi Tammy,

Your cards made me cry today. Having lost my father more than 20 years ago, your cards made it possible to evoke the tender and wonderful moments my children and I spent with him. Your particular choice of image and sentiment made me remember all the times that bend on his knees and with his strong and tender arms stretch to us he would embrace and made you feel so safe in a world of so many uncertainties . My Father was a Unique man, I used to tell him that when he was born God broke the mold, he was perfect in every way, he was my Friend, my Confidant, my Teacher my HERO!!! Along the way I have encounter men with some of his attributes and qualities, but I have NEVER met one with ALL OF THEM!! That speaks volumes of my Father. Thanks for evoking this memories and teaching me to convert them from painful to joyous, that is the best compliment and tribute that I can give to a PERFECT MAN THAT I HAD THE HONOR AND PRIVILEGE TO CALL MY FATHER!!!
