One Shoe...

Happy Friday, everyone! I'm doing the happy dance because the weekend is almost upon us! I have nothing special planned, except to get a lot done! How about you?

I decided to play along this week for the Stamping Bella "Bellarific Friday" challenge! It's been awhile since I have done so, and I hear the Babes are looking for a new member. I'm certainly not going to hold my breath at the chance to be chosen, but thought I'd at least give it a try! I've bugged Emily more than a few times that there is definitely a void in her team with no Tammyabella, so maybe the Babes that are doing the choosing will think the same thing? LOL

The challenge this week is paper-piecing, so I decided to use one of Mo Manning's fabulous stamps for my card, and paper-pieced Cinderella's apron, and the patches on her skirt. She's working so hard, just dreaming and waiting for Prince Charming to come along and place that slipper on her foot! Since she's dreaming of her Prince, I added some pearls and shimmer to the card to dress it up a bit and remind her that he'll come someday!

I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with the sentiment, or where I was going to put it. None of the Nestabilities I tried quite fit the shape of the sentiment, until I turned that oval just a little cock-eyed and the light bulb came on over my head! I have honestly never tried putting a shape like this on a card at a slightly different angle, but it worked perfectly here (at least I think so!) so give it a try sometime! With this close-up you can better see the shimmer I added, too!
Well, I hope your weekend is full of blue skies, sunshine and lots of happy plans! I'll be working on freezer corn for part of my day on Saturday so if you want to help out, come on over!

Happy stamping!
