Hey everyone! How are you this fine and happy Friday! I am SO glad it's Friday and can't wait for tomorrow because I'm having my annual Christmas Card Buffet at the store and have over 20 of the worlds best customers coming to stamp out some Christmas cards and just have a good time! Woohoo for the weekend!
Here is my week #2 attempt at landing a spot as a Babe on the Stamping Bella design team! The challenge this week for Bellarific Friday is BLING, baby! When I searched through my stamps to pick something to use this week, I thought Francine Flapper would look fabulous with some bling! Flappers were the epitome of bright, fancy clothing in their heyday so I thought adding some bling to Francine would be perfect for the challenge this week. She's got gold glitter on the hem and bodice of her dress, and on her shoes as well as a bling'd up necklace done with a gold Spica pen. The die-cut panel she's stamped on is also bling'd up with some gold Perfect Pearls mist, and I also added some of that mist to the button to brighten it up just a little. The gemstones I used are from Prima and were actually more of a clear/silver shade. I wanted them to look a little more vintage and golden, so I airbrushed them with a Y26 Copic marker! Worked like a charm!
