More Sneak Peeks!

Hello friends! I have another card to share with you today that uses more images from the sweet new stamp sets coming from My Time Made Easy! These are yet more cute images and sentiments from the On Display 1 stamp set! I tell you, the possiblities are just endless with this one single stamp set. But then when you combine it with matching paper designed by Sara Williams, you get even more wow-factor! And if you really want to kick it up a notch you can take it further with the Shop Around mega template that all the girls have been showing you this week! (Lauren's stamps and other products are like the Energizer Bunny.... they keep going and going and going!)
For this card, I used the sketch challenge from last week on Splitcoast Stampers for the layout. My clock is stamped in Stampin' Up! Rose Red ink, and I used SU! Regal Rose, Always Artichoke, Rose Red and River Rock cardstock to match the digi paper!

Stop by Lauren's blog for all the details regaring this new release, and also see what Lisa Kind has done with her Shop Around template today! You'll LOVE it!

Thanks for visiting me today! (And to the new followers I've had pop up in the past few days.... welcome, and thank you!)

The Sweet Shoppe

Hi everyone! I've got another sneak peek for you today of new stamps and other goodies to be released at My Time Made Easy! Today I am using a new cut file called Homemade Card and Envelope. This is a house-shaped slider card, and it's so easy and cute, you'll love it! Now, many of you know that cut files are something you use a Cricut or other personal cutting system with. I have no fancy equipment like that, though.... it's way too technical for me! So all I did was print the PDF files from my computer! Super-easy, and look at the cuteness you get!

There are three parts to this file.... the house-shaped card (which is inside), and a separate roof which you adhere at the top. And then the pocket-style envelope. I printed some more of Sara's cute papers to make the envelope, but this time I printed the Cupcake Bits digi-paper in Sweetheart on Pink Pirouette cardstock!
The window comes from the Shoppe Window stamp set, and the cupcakes are from the On Dispay 1 set. It's just one cupcake in the set, but because these are fabulous, high-quality clear stamps I was able to stamp my cupcakes into a pyramid to display in the window! I used my Copics to color everything, then painted a thin layer of Crystal Effects over the whole window.
The Sweet Treats sentiment below the window is from the Sign It stamp set.
Then as you can see here, you just grab the top by the roof and pull out the card inside the envelope! I added a strip of Cupcake Bits digi-paper again printed on Pink Pirouette cardstock across the bottom, and another cupcake, along with a sentiment that also comes from the On Display 1 set!

So there you have it! My day 3 sneak peek for you from MTME! Have you been checking out all the other sneak peeks! What do you think about that awesome new Shop Around template? OMGosh, I am in complete AWE at what the girls have done with this thing! Be sure and stop by Lauren's blog for all the new release details, and also see the fabulous creations from Katie, Lesa, Silke, Stephanie, Tracey and Pam! Dawn is also posting each day with new release sneak peeks so check out her beautiful creations, too!

Thanks for stopping by!

MTME Sneak Peeks Day 2

Hi everyone! It's the second day of sneak peeks for the new releases coming up at My Time Made Easy! Today I'm excited to share with you this set of note cards I made using one of the new sets, On Display 1. The little images in this set are incredibly cute, and there's a matching sentiment or two for everyone of them that you'll just love!
The papers I've used on each card are all designed by Sara Williams, and they coordinate perfectly with the stamps!I used my Scor-It mini to add the scored lines above each strip of designer papers and cardstock. You'll find cardstock in your supplies to match all these papers beautifully! This one makes me want to go to Starbucks right NOW!If you click on this one for a close-up, you'll see the paw prints in the paper!

Let's Chat About Some Fabulous News!

Let's chat, shall we? I want to share some fabulous news with you all today! I have been asked to join the team of incredibly talented girls on the My Time Made Easy team! As many of you know, I'm sure the creative genius behind this company is Lauren Meader. I first became acquainted with Lauren when we served together on the Pink Cat Studio team, and have always been blown away by her creativity. It's amazing the ideas and designs she comes up with! I have jokingly said to stamping friends before that I wish she'd take a break so the rest of us could catch up! (Actually, what I specifically have said is that I wish Lauren would be stranded on an island somewhere for awhile! And Lauren, bless her heart, got a good chuckle at that!) I'm so honored to have this opportunity! The girls on this team have done an amazing job over the past months with Lauren's incredible templates, and the stamps are all so cute, as well as the awesome papers designed by my bestie Kristin Bueter, and Sara Williams! I can't wait for you to see all the goodness coming with this next release!

While Lauren and MTME are well-known for their fabulous 3-D templates, you'll mostly see me just creating cards so that you can see that even if you're not a big 3-D project stamper you can still be super creative with the stamps and papers!

So, enough babbling.... today I'm showing you a sneak peek of the new stamp set called Home Improvement, and there are also a few sneak peeks of other stamps to be shown in the next few days (the telephone, sentiment and the window panes). The Home Improvement set includes the window frame I've used as well as the curtain, the flower box and the leafy border. I created the little awning above the window with just a few score lines, and scalloped the edge with a Nestabilities die. The striped paper for the awning, and that pretty green designer paper are all digi-papers designed by Kristin! You'll LOVE the patterns and colors she has designed for this month as much as I do! And I put a piece of acetate in for the window, stamping the grid lines with Staz-On.

It's going to take me a little time to get used to linking things to the right places in the MTME store, so for now I'm just going to refer you to Lauren's blog for all the details today! And stop by again and again over the next few days and see what else I have to share! I'm especially excited about what I've got to show you on Sunday and Monday!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and letting me share this good news with you! Have a great weekend!

Color Throwdown #107

Hello everyone! Welcome to another Wednesday and another Color Throwdown! Kristin is our hostess today and she has chosen this beautiful, bright palette for you to try, which uses one of the new In Colors from Stampin' Up! However, do remember that it's not necessary to use the exact colors listed... just whatever you have that's similar.

For my card, I was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch #82 from Karen Giron, but my finished card turned out a little different. The gorgeous green ribbon I used is May Arts silk ribbon from Flourishes, and my silhouette flower stamps are from Impression Obsession. The sentiment is SU! and is from the set Whimsical Words (a belated birthday gift from my sweet friend, Anita!)
For more inspiration, see what my Throwdown sisters have created for today...

Bountiful Harvest

I got a slightly frantic message on Saturday evening from Beth Silaika. Beth, as you may know has been the hostess of the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers for a few years now and I've had the pleasure of filling in for her a few times with that challenge. She had apparently asked Debbie to do the challenge today, but poor Debbie is sick so she asked if I might be a last-minute fill in! Since I was having a really lazy day and needed some motivation to get busy stamping, I quickly said yes and got to work on a card!

Beth had already chosen Heather Prince, aka Princessheather to be featured today so I checked out her sweet gallery and found this card to CASE. I really liked the layout of the card, so I kept mine the same with just a few little changes. I turned to the new Bountiful Harvest stamp set from Our Craft Lounge that I had a sneak peek with the other day, just because I love it so much! I love the sketchiness of the illustrations, and the fact that the images are all so appropriate for Fall which is my favorite season for card-making and decorating!
I tucked the sentiment inside the card, along with a border made with some of my Cosmo Cricket paper and a scalloped scallop border made with a Die-Namics die from My Favorite Things!
Remember, there's still time (until 3:00 p.m. Eastern time today) to leave a comment on either of my OCL Sneak Peek posts this week and be eligible to win the Tweet Trees stamp set!

Thanks for stopping by!

Our Craft Lounge - New Release Day Blog Hop and Candy

Hello everyone, and welcome to New Release/Blog Hop day for Our Craft Lounge! I'm participating along with a group of fabulous stampers today to show you one more round of sneak peeks with the new stamps you can purchase later today! You can choose to buy your stamps directly from OCL, or choose any of these online and brick-and-mortar retailers!

The set I am sneak-peeking for you today is Tweet Trees, and you can see the full set below.
For my card, I decided to use a slightly modified version of the OCL Design Team sketch for today, and some new Echo Park papers! If you click on the photo for a close-up, you'll see that the background of the card was spritzed with Perfect Pearls for shimmer, and my little tree is cut-up and raised up on pop-dots for some added dimension! I was working away on my card and didn't really leave room for the sentiment on the front, so....
...I put it on the inside instead, along with a scalloped border sticker from the Echo Park paper kit.
I have a sweet friend who's going through a rough time lately, so I might just drop this in the mail to her to wish her a tree-ific day! :)

So be sure to visit all the following blogs for eye candy and BLOG CANDY! That's right... each blog will be giving away one of the sets they are sneak peeking today, and by leaving a comment on my blog you'll be eligible to win this Tweet Trees set! The contest closes at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on Sunday, and your comment must be attached to a Blogger profile that I can use to contact you, or you must include an email address in your comment. If I have no way of reaching you to let you know you won, another random number will be drawn! Here are all the blogs participating in today's hop...

As always, I thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy all the OCL goodness today! GOOD LUCK!

Color Throwdown #106

Hello everyone! It's Wednesday so it's time for another Color Throwdown and this week Danielle is the hostess! What do you think of this pretty color combo she chose? I thought for sure that her inspiration for these colors was the exact October Afternoon paper that I used on my card (and I think Barbara thought so too, because we were definitely on the same wavelength with our designs!) but I was wrong. However, her card is stunning as well as the rest of the Throwdown girls' cards, so be sure to check out their links below for inspiration!

For my card, I decided to use this sweet stamp from Whipper Snapper that's been begging to be inked! Aren't those little birdies cute, cooling off in the bath? I used Mercy's Tuesday Sketch Challenge #87 for my layout.
Stop by the Throwdown blog for all the challenge details, and then stop at the blogs of my Throwdown sisters for inspiration! And while you're at LeAnne's blog, be sure to wish her some mighty big congratulations! She became a Grandma yesterday!
