I haven’t been here in awhile… not sure if anyone missed me, but I’m here today to share some new creations with you! I don’t stamp nearly as much as I have in the past, but when I do I find it easier to just share on Instagram. So if you’re an Instagram user, please feel free to follow me there by clicking <a href="https://www.instagram.com/tammyhershberger/" target="_blank">this link</a>, or click on the little Instagram camera icon there on the top left column of my blog.</p><p>But hey, let’s get to the biggest reason why I’m here today! Many moons ago, I was honored to be assigned to my very first design team by the wonderful owner of <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/index.html" target="_blank">Kitchen Sink Stamps</a>. And today, Maria is releasing a new bunch of great stamps and has asked me to help her share them with you today by being a guest designer. Little known fact… in addition to being the first design team I was ever priviledged to serve on, I was also the <a href="http://stamphappy-tammy.blogspot.com/2007/09/everything-including-kitchen-sink.html" target="_blank">VERY FIRST online customer</a> at <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/index.html" target="_blank">Kitchen Sink Stamps</a>! I logged on to <a href="https://www.splitcoaststampers.com/" target="_blank">Splitcoaststampers</a> one day, and saw a banner ad for a company I’d not heard of, but in that ad was a pretty flower! I was intrigued! I clicked on the link and liked what I saw so much I placed a quick order as I headed out the door to work. That first stamp set that caught my eye (in addition to a few others I ordered that day!) was the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/Daisy-Clear-Stamps-Multi-Step.html" target="_blank">3-Step Daisy</a>. Do you remember this card?</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZpzduV2eHeU/WxWhujlSlOI/AAAAAAAAjWU/mmsgUJpV7P41Jl2ZePGyqzO_1ftCdLucQCHMYCw/s1600-h/1st%2BKitchen%2BSink%2BStamps%255B3%255D"><img width="389" height="293" title="1st Kitchen Sink Stamps" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="1st Kitchen Sink Stamps" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-4LArE4ITEdU/WxWhvVjJM3I/AAAAAAAAjWY/4HAq5MLJZi86AAfgT9LIcYDern6PV5XZQCHMYCw/1st%2BKitchen%2BSink%2BStamps_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Another fun story from many moons ago… I don’t remember how it got started but the Kitchen Sink Crew members were talking about other flowers we’d like to see as stamp sets, and someone (I think it was me?) mentioned dogwoods. I have the most beautiful pink dogwood tree in front of my kitchen window, and I look forward to it blooming every spring! Maria, being from California, didn’t know what a dogwood tree was! The horror! So I actually plucked some of the blooms from my tree that following spring, pressed them between sheets of waxed paper, then tucked them between the pages of a magazine, and quickly mailed that magazine off to Maria. And now… 8-10 years later? I FINALLY have my dogwoods! Just LOOK!</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IOXVV5SW7L8/WxWWkaStc6I/AAAAAAAAjUo/WdnT_JfnT-wczkw2hjUrFlVJ8cO4GcY7QCHMYCw/s1600-h/Dogwoods%2B2%255B9%255D"><img width="601" height="728" title="Dogwoods 2" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Dogwoods 2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TmAYgt1pvQ0/WxWWlH0IizI/AAAAAAAAjUs/WQVCVbzi8z8VRD_yYe7PhcBJKW_yCv_zwCHMYCw/Dogwoods%2B2_thumb%255B5%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Say hello to the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/dogwood-clear-layer-stamps.html" target="_blank">Enchanted Dogwood</a> stamp set. Aren’t they glorious?!?!?! I literally SQUEALED when I saw the stamps, I was so happy! I stamped my dogwoods with a combination of pink inks, because the pink blooms are what I like best. We also have another dogwood tree in our yard that has yellow blooms, but the shape of the petals are slightly different than this one. You seriously can make yours any color you want… they’re all beautiful! I paired my pretty flowers with some gingham paper, and added a sentiment… the “Friend” comes from another new set being released today, the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/celebrate-words-clear-stamps.html" target="_blank">Words 4 Celebrating</a> set. You will find SO. MUCH. VERSATILITY! in this new sentiment set… as I did with this card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-M_5Rxnbws7A/WxWWlw2eLoI/AAAAAAAAjUw/LZuYeAK8nYwe66QNHcbJqCcFcOvMRgxYACHMYCw/s1600-h/You%2Bare%2Bthe%2BBest%2B2%255B4%255D"><img width="589" height="689" title="You are the Best 2" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="You are the Best 2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-GL4SmT-6Jug/WxWWmUM6Z_I/AAAAAAAAjU0/yvtlvzKGcSQhdCHaeCoErQpzTHUioJwewCHMYCw/You%2Bare%2Bthe%2BBest%2B2_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>How do you like that rainbow? I picked four of the words from the set… Amazing, Special, Perfect and Awesome and stamped them for a background. Then I die-cut the letters y-o-u, and combined them with a sentiment from the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/Other-Important-People-Clear-Stamps.html" target="_blank">Other Important People</a> stamp set. I just LOVE how this one turned out, and I hope you like it, too!</p><p>And one more fabulous stamp set being released is the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/daffodils-clear-stamps.html" target="_blank">Multi-Step Spring Daffodils</a>! Check it out…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-K6hDi8O7Qj8/WxWeTU6yIWI/AAAAAAAAjV0/Gqnr04dDtF0qWv_aBrKqIXXfGFLudXD4QCHMYCw/s1600-h/Daffodils%2B2%255B3%255D"><img width="637" height="513" title="Daffodils 2" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Daffodils 2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gCc0tk4ej3Y/WxWeUE4lfAI/AAAAAAAAjV4/a1mu_eJFk5grJydBWVMMrSlEMZOdJxTEgCHMYCw/Daffodils%2B2_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Daffodils in the spring are such a wonderful sight, don’t you think? Although, here in Norteast Ohio, they can sometimes look pretty sad when they’re covered by a snowfall, as happens quite often! One more fun fact, if you can stand it? When I was a little girl, I called these “dack-o-dills”! Wasn’t I ADORABLE??? I paired my daffodils with another sentiment from the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/celebrate-words-clear-stamps.html" target="_blank">Words 4 Celebrating</a> stamp set, and I also used the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/svg-stamp-outline-files.html" target="_blank">digital cut file</a> that’s available from <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/index.html" target="_blank">Kitchen Sink Stamps</a> to cut out the daffodils with my Silhouette Cameo.</p><p>Finally, I had to use the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/daffodils-clear-stamps.html" target="_blank">Spring Daffodils</a> for one more fun card. You’ll notice included with the daffodils in the set, some frogs and dragonflies! So, just for the fun of it, I used the current <a href="http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2018/05/case-this-sketch-274.html" target="_blank">CAS(E) this Sketch #274</a> to create this fun birthday card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jkCrPp-YuuU/WxWeUpPvc8I/AAAAAAAAjV8/d4YuzFVnU7sD6dLMhW4nCjhtmxkVghVVwCHMYCw/s1600-h/The%2BFrog%2Band%2Bthe%2BFly%2B2%255B4%255D"><img width="614" height="750" title="The Frog and the Fly 2" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="The Frog and the Fly 2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-AfouiS_G3uw/WxWeVYXeEQI/AAAAAAAAjWA/SNnwlEkQA1kGuHgDIRHLNCb1thAtxZn-ACHMYCw/The%2BFrog%2Band%2Bthe%2BFly%2B2_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>My froggie is hiding in the weeds along the edge of a pond, getting ready to snap that dragonfly out of the air! LOL</p><p>PLEASE be sure to visit the <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/index.html" target="_blank">Kitchen Sink Stamps</a> website to grab these new stamp sets for yourself. And stop by the <a href="https://www.facebook.com/kitchensinkstamps/" target="_blank">KSS Facebook page</a> to see more creations featuring these new designs. I’m squeaking in under the wire to enter my card for the <a href="http://www.cardchallenges.com/2017/10/wednesday-sketch-challenge-sketch-353.html" target="_blank">sketch challenge #353</a> with <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a> this week. I made this card on Saturday while I was at Crafty Day with my friends, and realized I needed to get it photographed and uploaded! I have a co-worker who’s having surgery in a few weeks, and I agreed to make a card for everyone to sign. She’s an animal lover, and a motorcyclist so I thought this card with a horse AND the saddle reference (thinking of the motorcycle seat!) would give her a chuckle!</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WDbjCLdYPC0/WdxDEXcUVLI/AAAAAAAAjQs/TiLUoUmv7M4Kn2TRFM2svFNafvG-aDwzwCHMYCw/s1600-h/MFTWSC353%255B8%255D"><img width="716" height="885" title="MFTWSC353" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="MFTWSC353" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-O8PcSBWtoaA/WdxDFOZ-B8I/AAAAAAAAjQw/lcKl127IhB4K6pzHv0Q73nAjK4fZ19ImQCHMYCw/MFTWSC353_thumb%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Here’s the sketch, and as you can probably tell, I flipped it upside down.</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-dpT3Zm_QhRY/WdxDFhUufSI/AAAAAAAAjQ0/uPmUVpqfotkqgt-PWua0Qxl3yZS6uyHrwCHMYCw/s1600-h/MFT_WSC_353%255B3%255D"><img width="356" height="446" title="MFT_WSC_353" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="MFT_WSC_353" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-hcYxEtaCbr4/WdxDGE-1G1I/AAAAAAAAjQ4/tNuMGEDbtYQHDlG2O-3MBbHvNpy_27JOQCHMYCw/MFT_WSC_353_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I also got some inspiration for my design from <a href="http://myjoyfulmoments-kaym.blogspot.com/2016/01/mft-february-release-countdown-day-5.html" target="_blank">this card by Kay Miller</a>, also using the (retired) <a href="https://www.ellenhutson.com/my-favorite-things-clear-stamps-farm-tastic/" target="_blank">Farm-tastic</a> stamp set and Die-namics from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT</a>.</p><p>I hope you had a nice weekend! It’s been a hectic week because I’ve had to work at a different office than my own all week, and just breaking my usual routine throws me into a tizzy. It took until this evening for me to even realize I hadn’t done my post. My apologies to the CTD ladies for forgetting my obligations!</p><p>Here are the colors for this week…</p><p><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvGf2tGNAISyZ7waIMdYoS3aYhHmMAoPOMIqfP88Gl6M2swgo5g9OqXswVHF5fxTmtrEwpvPzX-HZg9xso3vhccBmWOaUH7vizcp2-T4cb0MeGdzVjPeM2m-G1D72SStX76J1JS6kA7ufG/s1600-h/swatch461%255B4%255D"><img width="453" height="337" title="swatch461" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="swatch461" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NVxgcs8sgWo/WcReFgA0AMI/AAAAAAAAjPo/opVJBx3wXYoYn99bEBcWx0rf0E5Me0LvwCHMYCw/swatch461_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>And here’s my card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_DbmBIwijHU/WcReFyINrWI/AAAAAAAAjPs/MY5gRhhIluQZJifpC895zHjpgVHsgwExgCHMYCw/s1600-h/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523461%255B4%255D"><img width="694" height="559" title="Color Throwdown #461" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Color Throwdown #461" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-VJYYPkADQUc/WcReGq5TJtI/AAAAAAAAjPw/pjTOYoSqTvIchx9FEMia3IeMRx3PRDi-wCHMYCw/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523461_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>These colors just screamed Halloween to me, but I don’t have many Halloween-ish images. However, this cute image from <a href="http://www.whippersnapperdesigns.com/" target="_blank">Whipper Snapper Designs</a> is one I have always kept as I love the whimsy of it so much! I colored that lil’ pumpkin, ghost and scaredy cat witch <a href="http://www.markerpop.com/catalog/markers/copic.html" target="_blank">Copic markers</a>, framed them up with a purple gingham frame, and added some bright yellow sequins for embellishment. A green sentiment flag completed the design.</p><p>Please be sure to stop by the <a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/">CTD blog</a> for all the challenge details, and visit the CTD team members for more inspiration…<p><a href="http://inkaboutme.blogspot.com/">Amy Rohl</a><br><a href="http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/">Amy Rysavy</a><br><a href="http://barspaperpursuits.blogspot.com/">Barbara Anders</a><br><a href="http://bronih.typepad.com/splashesofwatercolor/">Broni Holcombe</a><br><a href="http://stampingalatte.blogspot.com/">Jodi Collins</a><br><a href="https://mylittlecreativeescape.blogspot.com/">Lisa Henke</a><br><a href="http://inkingaloud.blogspot.com/">Lori Tecler</a><br><a href="https://thequeensscene.blogspot.com/">Lynn Put</a><br><a href="http://vickiezimmer.blogspot.com/">Vickie Zimmer</a><br><a href="http://cullen-arycreations.blogspot.com/">Wanda Cullen</a><p>Thanks for stopping by today!Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-74125163967573784822017-09-13T02:00:00.000-04:002017-09-13T02:00:30.030-04:00Color Throwdown #460<p>Hello friends! Behind the flowers and sentiment I added a piece of black and white polka dot paper from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/supplies/patterned-paper/itsy-bitsy-polka-dots-paper-pack" target="_blank">Itsy Bitsy Polka Dots 6x6 paper pack</a>, and embellished with some <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/sparkling-clear-mix" target="_blank">Sparkling Clear Mix sequins</a>. </p><p>Please be sure to stop by the <a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">CTD blog</a> for all the challenge details, and visit the CTD team members for more inspiration…</p><p><a href="http://inkaboutme.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Amy Rohl</a><br><a href="http://prairiepaperandink.typepad.com/" target="_blank">Amy Rysavy</a><br><a href="http://barspaperpursuits.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Barbara Anders</a><br><a href="http://bronih.typepad.com/splashesofwatercolor/" target="_blank">Broni Holcombe</a><br><a href="http://stampingalatte.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Jodi Collins</a><br><a href="https://mylittlecreativeescape.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Lisa Henke</a><br><a href="http://inkingaloud.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Lori Tecler</a><br><a href="https://thequeensscene.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Lynn Put</a><br><a href="http://vickiezimmer.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Vickie Zimmer</a><br><a href="http://cullen-arycreations.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Wanda Cullen</a></p><p>Thanks for stopping by today!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-823924822465621342017-08-27T15:41:00.001-04:002017-08-27T15:41:26.706-04:00Happy 65th!<p>Hello friends! I have a quick card to share today. A couple at our church is celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary this coming week! Isn’t that amazing and wonderful!?!?! I can remember my grandparents celebrating their 65th the year before my grandpa passed away… it’s truly an incredible feat, especially in this day and age where more young people seem to be more interested in just throwing a big wedding, and not actually in making a marriage work! </p><p>I found the current <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT sketch #347</a> to be the perfect inspiration for this card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-9S8LWERq5lo/WaMgY-duNVI/AAAAAAAAjNE/_kD5IHJCiGsKxDVjhK79ZSBYOCEbCqA0ACHMYCw/s1600-h/Happy%2B65%255B4%255D"><img width="702" height="539" title="Happy 65" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Happy 65" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--GiKjIpiwV0/WaMgZTf7ZPI/AAAAAAAAjNI/2ea-yML0TXQAFnT9qEOEcSJpCIT-LlrlwCHMYCw/Happy%2B65_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I used the retired High-Rise Numbers from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>, die-cutting the numbers from gold glitter card stock, and I added a sentiment flag from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/blueprints/die-namics-blueprints-13" target="_blank">Blueprints 13</a> that was stamped with a “HAPPY” from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/alphabets-sentiments/essential-sentiments-3827" target="_blank">Essential Sentiments</a> on <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=gravel+gray" target="_blank">Gravel Gray</a> card stock. Behind the numbers, I added a <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=black+licorice" target="_blank">Black Licorice</a> Die-Namics <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/frames/die-namics-stitched-dome-frames" target="_blank">Stitched Dome Frames</a> and layered a piece of vellum behind that. I added a strip of black diagonal stripe paper from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/dots-stripes-neutral-paper-pack" target="_blank">Dots & Stripes Neutral</a> 6x6 paper pack, and embellished with some clear rhinestones. I die-cut the center panel with the Double Stitched Rectangle STAX, layered that on a piece of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=black+licorice" target="_blank">Black Licorice</a> card stock, then adhered to my card base. </p><p>Sending tons of love, thoughts and prayers to friends in the areas affected by Hurrican Harvey right now. I can’t imagine the devastation, and pray everyone is safe!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-68452423851944668762017-08-22T22:07:00.001-04:002017-08-22T22:07:38.694-04:00Hippo Bird-Day!<p>Hi friends! Has anyone missed me? I haven’t stamped in weeks! Know how I know that? Because I made this card on Saturday, August 5th, and that’s the last time I stamped! My mojo is completely missing… I’d like it back, if anyone sees it!</p><p>Using the adorbs <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/bb-happy-hippos" target="_blank">BB Happy Hippos</a> from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>, I made this card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-BcWHHfsw8ec/WZzjYqpsTII/AAAAAAAAjMY/ocoFFmbfkqI59gYMmL6WFt8UelNHzduogCHMYCw/s1600-h/Hippo%2BBird-Day%255B3%255D"><img width="616" height="742" title="Hippo Bird-Day" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Hippo Bird-Day" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TB_jfgs0StA/WZzjZYfdmuI/AAAAAAAAjMc/4xei0Tx8xEA86z82A2EceT7FUCp2B3YZwCHMYCw/Hippo%2BBird-Day_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>The layout was inspired by the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT sketch #344</a> from way back in early August. I never even had the time to photograph and blog it in time to enter in the challenge! What’s UP with that??? My kids are adults… WHY don’t I have MORE time on my hands? Oh, I know what the problem is… my hubby and I spend too much time at auctions and antique shops looking for Pyrex! And here’s my latest acquisition… a vintage Formica and chrome kitchen table! Isn’t it DARLING? </p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ohjmSvh-B00/WZzjZ7Fz1HI/AAAAAAAAjMg/Sumz39ZqbNMe8KhywJJBR-ULI9a3icL4wCHMYCw/s1600-h/20881997_10214327448045802_1068256348653130661_n%255B3%255D"><img width="558" height="556" title="20881997_10214327448045802_1068256348653130661_n" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="20881997_10214327448045802_1068256348653130661_n" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-QiTLEMfZK4I/WZzjaawYTyI/AAAAAAAAjMk/KHaOuSdklzwMxlKZ6qLwP3KjXlCwiHLuQCHMYCw/20881997_10214327448045802_1068256348653130661_n_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Well, we’re enjoying our summer and I hope you are too! I finished a card today that I started working on earlier in the week. Made this for a friend who gave me a whole bunch of zucchini from her garden recently!</p><p><a Have you played yet with the new Distress Oxide inks? Well, they’re not really that new… I guess they’ve been around a few months now, but I finally picked up just four colors of them this past weekend, and LOVE them! I have had to restrain myself from buying more, though… I’m trying to curb my spending. Raise your hand if you buy more stamps and crafting supplies then you will EVER use!?!?! Yep, I’m raising BOTH hands! But anyway, with just four colors to use, I’m still having fun experimenting with them. On Sunday, I decided to use them to color these wine bottles, and made this card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mc6QCoCI-Yo/WW694dcbq3I/AAAAAAAAivM/KR_JOdV0hi0RhUdh0fY3lrNgWFXXEgaaACHMYCw/s1600-h/Cheers%255B7%255D"><img width="663" height="819" title="Cheers" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Cheers" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Pksg9HhLj_k/WW694zUr_XI/AAAAAAAAivQ/8kYS-AHLeccinKnHU9NN-imog5WOwr4vQCHMYCw/Cheers_thumb%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>This was made for a very good wine-loving (well, she’s pretty impartial when it comes to ANY alcohol!) friend. For the first bottle, I just used an aquabrush to apply some <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Oxide-Ink-Pad-WILTED-VIOLET-Ranger-TDO56355-TDO56355?currency=USD" target="_blank">Wilted Violet</a> Distress Oxide ink to watercolor card stock, then just kept playing with it, spraying with water and drying until I had a neat look. For the “green” bottle, I got creative with <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Oxide-Ink-Pad-FOSSILIZED-AMBER-Ranger-TDO55983-TDO55983?currency=USD" target="_blank">Fossilized Amber</a> and <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Oxide-Ink-Pad-BROKEN-CHINA-Ranger-TDO55846-TDO55846" target="_blank">Broken China</a> Distress Oxide inks. It didn’t turn out quite as green as I had hoped, but still created a great shade of blue, I think! I used the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-wine-service" target="_blank">Wine Service</a> Die-namics from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a> to die-cut wine bottles, then on the purple bottle I sponged some <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Ink-Pad-DUSTY-CONCORD-Ranger-TIM21445-9028?currency=USD" target="_blank">Dusty Concord</a> Distress ink on the left side for dimension. And on the green-blue bottle, I sponged some <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Tim-Holtz-Distress-Ink-Pad-PINE-NEEDLES-Ranger-TIM21476-8447" target="_blank">Pine Needles</a> Distress ink. I added the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-cheers" target="_blank">Cheers</a> die-cut from gold glitter card stock. I added the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/cling-rubber/bg-wood-plank-background" target="_blank">BG Wood Plank</a> in the background, and a miscellaneous piece of golden yellow striped designer paper, along with some <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=champagne+sequins" target="_blank">Champagne sequins</a> for embellishment. On the inside I added a sentiment from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/uncorked" target="_blank">Uncorked</a> stamp set.</p><p>So, cheers! And thanks for stopping by!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-64822914602085972822017-07-13T20:26:00.001-04:002017-07-13T20:26:25.440-04:00Biggest Hugs<p>I got home from work today, and just couldn’t wait to spend some time de-stressing! I hope you’re having a great weekend! It’s been a gorgeous day here in Northeast Ohio, and I spent some of it doing some stamping. (And will finish the day with THE. BEST. FIREWORKS. IN. THE. I hope you have a safe, enjoyable holiday!</p><p>I have a few more cards to share with you today! After I made <a href="http://stamphappy-tammy.blogspot.com/2017/07/bamboo-rose-birthday.html" target="_blank">this card</a> a few days ago using the beautiful <a href="https://altenew.com/products/bamboo-rose-stamp-die-bundle" target="_blank">Bamboo Rose</a> stamps and dies from <a href="http://altenew.com/" target="_blank">Altenew</a>, I just figured I’d stamp and die cut a few more while I was already making one card. So the second batch of roses I watercolored in shades of purple, and made this card for my Mom…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-gR1qhtp_fBk/WVr0HuEjrfI/AAAAAAAAiqI/sg_r-xl3NggWTS5Oh_p3Hx3LYeIGDhSZgCHMYCw/s1600-h/Grateful%2Bfor%2BMom%255B4%255D"><img width="700" height="517" title="Grateful for Mom" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Grateful for Mom" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TmS11sTQIpQ/WVr0IGYSzTI/AAAAAAAAiqM/oxvJ5h6pndoDWEsg2AjFfAf8agRZOXMugCHMYCw/Grateful%2Bfor%2BMom_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>My Mom has always been the most amazing person in my life, and I AM grateful for her in so many ways. She visited us for a long weekend recently, and we went garage sale’ing on Friday, something she’s SO GOOD at! And with my weight loss over the past year, she has found a lot of “new” clothes for me at garage sales and thrift shops so my summer wardrobe is 90% thanks to her! So I wanted to send her a card to say thanks for all the new clothes, and just for being my terrific Mom. Along with the <a href="https://altenew.com/products/bamboo-rose-stamp-die-bundle" target="_blank">Bamboo Rose</a> stamps, I also used the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/grateful-for-you" target="_blank">Grateful</a> stamps and matching Die-Namics, the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/stax/die-namics-stitched-mini-scallop-rectangle-stax" target="_blank">Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX</a>, and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/cling-rubber/bg-small-brick-background" target="_blank">BG Small Brick</a> background from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>.</p><p>Then, since I still had a few pink and purple <a href="https://altenew.com/products/bamboo-rose-stamp-die-bundle" target="_blank">Bamboo Rose</a>s left, I made these two <a href="http://stamphappy-tammy.blogspot.com/search/label/ABS%20Cards" target="_blank">ABS Cards</a> for extras to keep in my stash! Well, my stay-cation comes to an end tomorrow morning. I do NOT want to go back to work, but that’s life! In the meantime, I ended my relaxing week by spending time with some of my stamping friends on Saturday, just stamping and talking and having a nice time! I made a special effort yesterday to use stamps and dies that I’ve purchased recently and haven’t used, so the beautiful <a href="http://thestampmarket.com/papillon/" target="_blank">Papillon</a> and <a href="http://thestampmarket.com/papillon-patterns-stamp-cut-bundle/" target="_blank">Papillon Patterns</a> stamps and dies I recently got from <a href="http://thestampmarket.com/" target="_blank">The Stamp Market</a> were on my agenda, and I made this card…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-TEsvRfk_Ys8/WVmJGASLywI/AAAAAAAAipo/4pOg3wwh4hcLPVkquX3nbc8u4Qsinv73gCHMYCw/s1600-h/Butterfly%2BThanks%255B5%255D"><img width="680" height="827" title="Butterfly Thanks" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Butterfly Thanks" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SzgoNr_M22g/WVmJGiwYgEI/AAAAAAAAips/Jo9CvKAH35gAWwKI8PQw0L_3-O-HpBwDgCHMYCw/Butterfly%2BThanks_thumb%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I used a color combo that I had saved on Pinterest, and found two challenges to use in the making of my card. First was the current sketch from <a href="http://freshlymadesketches.blogspot.com/2017/06/freshly-made-sketches-294-sketch-by-amy.html" target="_blank">Freshly Made Sketches #294</a>, however I turned my design vertical. And the second challenge was the current <a href="http://cas-ualfridays.blogspot.com/2017/06/cfc177-tic-tac-toe.html" target="_blank">Cas-ual Fridays #177</a> Tic-Tac-Toe challenge. I started on the top left corner (butterflies), and went diagonal also incorporating a tag and texture (the embossing on the butterfly). </p><p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Yjmiu3jlR9A/WVmJ7uRsamI/AAAAAAAAipw/62SpK_CEtqI4i_wxvXiIMQUtqixGcwP7ACHMYCw/s1600-h/FMS%2BFinal%2B294-001%255B3%255D"><img width="407" height="291" title="FMS Final 294-001" style="display: inline; background-image: none;" alt="FMS Final 294-001" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-0NSGvkjdFjE/WVmJ8OZXNUI/AAAAAAAAip0/p7nn3X8FjJYwneYjLH2eDVr9bSpdmu_zACHMYCw/FMS%2BFinal%2B294-001_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-A5oVAOSKM5A/WVmJ8rXogpI/AAAAAAAAip4/NKiaIVMJNtwnet5GqH3awnfiJp9fnpYVwCHMYCw/s1600-h/17636872_1441560335868112_6551650012930091439_o%255B3%255D"><img width="410" height="315" title="17636872_1441560335868112_6551650012930091439_o" style="display: inline; background-image: none;" alt="17636872_1441560335868112_6551650012930091439_o" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-MHKxKieCjWQ/WVmJ9FufFCI/AAAAAAAAip8/4gCL9-DoLDYAFiIegjT7ZtrhdOWYsYN8QCHMYCw/17636872_1441560335868112_6551650012930091439_o_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>The sentiment on my tag is from the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Clear-Stamps-THANKS-sss101347-60693?currency=USD" target="_blank">Thanks</a> stamp set from <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp</a>. I did some more stamping yesterday, and made this birthday card for one of my aunts using the <a href="https://altenew.com/products/bamboo-rose-stamp-die-bundle" target="_blank">Bamboo Rose</a> stamp and die set from <a href="http://altenew.com/" target="_blank">Altenew</a>…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-thGpwtWIrA4/WVcodbEbubI/AAAAAAAAipE/ccc6_AjBzBccg4wnVVhXELCw5DVibhaSQCHMYCw/s1600-h/Aunt%2BSandra%2BBirthday%255B4%255D"><img width="701" height="541" title="Aunt Sandra Birthday" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Aunt Sandra Birthday" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NXcBMqHqbvU/WVcoeFgXjrI/AAAAAAAAipI/czawtoqA5FwhCOi3wvFL4hBV11ztO3AIwCHMYCw/Aunt%2BSandra%2BBirthday_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I stamped the roses on watercolor card stock with <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/versamark-ink-pad" target="_blank">Versamark ink</a> and embossed with <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/white-embossing-powder" target="_blank">white embossing powder</a>. Then I colored each rose and the leaves with dye inks from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a> and an aqua brush. I arranged the roses around a <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-stitched-oval-scallop-edge-frames" target="_blank">Stitched Oval Scallop Edge Frame</a> Die-Namics from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT</a> and added an inset with watercolor card stock and a wash of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cotton+candy" target="_blank">Cotton Candy</a> dye ink. Some <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Pretty-Pink-Posh-SPARKLING-CLEAR-CONFETTI-MIX-SPCFMPP" target="_blank">Sparkling Clear Sequins</a> for embellishment completed my card.</p><p>Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-51349048556980020732017-06-28T17:51:00.001-04:002017-06-28T17:56:20.748-04:00Color Throwdown #449Hi friends, it’s me again! For this card, I used my new <a href="https://concordand9th.com/products/orange-you-sweet-bundle" target="_blank">Orange You Sweet</a> stamps and dies from <a href="https://concordand9th.com/" target="_blank">Concord & 9th</a>… the orange was perfect for this CTD challenge! I’m looking forward to many more fun cards using these stamps and dies!<br>

You may be asking “Tammy, what are ABS Cards?” No, that doesn’t stand for Anti-Lock Braking System… at least not here! You’ve heard of ABC gum, haven’t you? (<u>A</u>lready <u>B</u>een <u>C</u>hewed) Well, the cards I’m sharing with you today are what I call ABS Cards! (<u><strong><strong>A</strong></strong></u>lready <u><strong><strong>B</strong></strong></u>een <u><strong><strong>S</strong></strong></u>tamped) You see, whenever I use a stamp set like <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/bold-blooms" target="_blank">Bold Blooms</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/beautiful-blooms-card-kit-3598" target="_blank">Beautiful Blooms</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/desert-bouquet" target="_blank">Desert Bouquet</a>, or <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/mini-modern-blooms" target="_blank">Mini Modern Blooms</a> I like to die-cut quite a few extra of every piece. Then, when I get out my <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/misti" target="_blank">MISTI</a> to stamp the flowers, while I’m at it, I just stamp more than I need for the current card I’m making. Then I store the extras in the pocket with the dies, so I always have a “garden” of extra flowers on hand to make ABS Cards! (All the flower stamps and Die-Namics you see in this post are from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>, unless otherwise noted.)</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h2RL6lOKyug/WVPWnvn_ZZI/AAAAAAAAinY/Or40KC1R6NIcjgyaNcn0R6xSz51NaCd8ACHMYCw/IMG_7713%255B3%255D?imgmax=800"><img width="462" height="515" title="IMG_7713" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="IMG_7713" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-h2RL6lOKyug/WVPWnvn_ZZI/AAAAAAAAinY/Or40KC1R6NIcjgyaNcn0R6xSz51NaCd8ACHMYCw/IMG_7713%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I even have a Ziploc bag full of extra die-cut flowers from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/sensational-stitched-flowers-card-kit" target="_blank">Sensational Stitched Flowers</a> Die-Namics that are leftover from this project…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WeqRXXEnCW4/WVPWoZW3AHI/AAAAAAAAinc/6A6oXI42OJApdLbyDve3hma-s8wIdai-ACHMYCw/Sensational%2BStitched%2BThank%2BYou%2BNotes%255B3%255D?imgmax=800"><img width="670" height="567" title="Sensational Stitched Thank You Notes" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Sensational Stitched Thank You Notes" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-WeqRXXEnCW4/WVPWoZW3AHI/AAAAAAAAinc/6A6oXI42OJApdLbyDve3hma-s8wIdai-ACHMYCw/Sensational%2BStitched%2BThank%2BYou%2BNotes%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Some die-cuts you can see are not stamped, and that’s most likely because I didn’t intend to use that particular piece on whatever I was working on, but they’re there if I ever do want to use them! </p><p>A few of these “leftovers” originated from a project I did back in April. Twice a year I go on a weekend-long stamping retreat with friends, and while I was there, I die-cut a whole mess of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/beautiful-blooms-card-kit-3598" target="_blank">Beautiful Blooms</a>, and stamped them all in a variety of complimentary colors to create a set of cards like this…</p><p><a href="$Flowered Wreath[3].jpg"><img width="660" height="812" title="Flowered Wreath" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Flowered Wreath" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-xPLCu4KTCUo/WVPWpEP9LNI/AAAAAAAAing/5URsiOzQHm4mRlvN6gX-6rNnX_M0fwkaQCHMYCw/Flowered%2BWreath%255B4%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I <em>think</em> I made 16 of these… can’t remember now. (The wreath used here is the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Stamp-CHISHOLM-WREATH-Wafer-Dies-s309-Create-Joy-s309" target="_blank">Chisolm Wreath</a> from <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.simonsaysstamp.com/" target="_blank">Simon Says Stamp</a>.) But all the leftover flowers and leaves went into the pocket for later use! Like yesterday, when I needed to make a quick little card and used them for this ABS Card…</p><p><a href="$For You Mini Card[6].jpg"><img width="680" height="663" title="For You Mini Card" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="For You Mini Card" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sG5mIE8JmPo/WVPWpvdRjBI/AAAAAAAAink/zT78rTpYK14TMSahteLlrFKeTt-WjwwrQCHMYCw/For%2BYou%2BMini%2BCard%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>And over the last few weeks, I’ve made two cards using <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/bold-blooms" target="_blank">Bold Blooms</a>, and the leftover stamped die-cuts from those cards were used to make these two ABS Cards…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JiVvYmf6tGs/WVPWqBfU_RI/AAAAAAAAino/jJNfQRev4MA6p74nfSZHCfuvY8JxS_WAQCHMYCw/Sympathy%2BBlooms%255B4%255D?imgmax=800"><img width="694" height="872" title="Sympathy Blooms" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Sympathy Blooms" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-JiVvYmf6tGs/WVPWqBfU_RI/AAAAAAAAino/jJNfQRev4MA6p74nfSZHCfuvY8JxS_WAQCHMYCw/Sympathy%2BBlooms%255B4%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EzE_7dzsR2A/WVPWrJgcPMI/AAAAAAAAins/Aj175CSvGgkgD6Id2MEM2yqOrTlx447BwCHMYCw/Hello%2BThere%2BBlooms%255B4%255D?imgmax=800"><img width="701" height="571" title="Hello There Blooms" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Hello There Blooms" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EzE_7dzsR2A/WVPWrJgcPMI/AAAAAAAAins/Aj175CSvGgkgD6Id2MEM2yqOrTlx447BwCHMYCw/Hello%2BThere%2BBlooms%255B4%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>So, next time you’re using floral stamp sets that have matching dies, consider stamping some extras so you have them on hand to create ABS Cards! Or ANY stamp set, really… doesn’t have to be florals! Just stamp a few extra each time, and save a few steps for your next creation!</p><p>Thanks for stopping by today!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-84296705883146709242017-06-26T21:13:00.001-04:002017-06-26T21:49:05.574-04:00Cow’s It Going?<p>Hi friends! Wow, life has kept me busy lately, how about you? My Mom was visiting a few weeks ago, then I was busy getting ready to have a big yard sale. The sale was yesterday, and I was able to sell quite a bit of my now-too-big clothing so that was really nice! I’m happy to get it all out of my closet, and happy to pass it on to others who can use the clothes. And now, I’m on stay-cation and don’t go back to work until Monday, July 3rd! So you’ll be hearing from me a lot in the coming week, I’m sure!</p><p>Last evening, I spent some time stamping with some new stamps I bought from <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/" target="_blank">Pink Fresh Studio</a>! I got these several weeks ago, but just haven’t had time to play. And now that I have… OMGosh! I just LOVE these sweet <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/collections/floral/products/say-it-with-florals" target="_blank">Say it with Florals</a> stamps, and the matching <a href="https://www.pinkfreshstudio.com/collections/coordinating-dies/products/say-it-with-florals-die" target="_blank">Say it with Florals die</a>! This card was a lot of fun to make. For my first attempt, I followed the example on the package, and this is what I came up with…</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-1FNUMuObPg4/WU85A41eqQI/AAAAAAAAilI/UbARinZi484EaYzkN1nJIT7shcYhGo2FQCHMYCw/s1600-h/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523448%255B7%255D"><img width="704" height="835" title="Color Throwdown #448" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="Color Throwdown #448" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--nm8PIjuhbk/WU85B031xXI/AAAAAAAAilM/FMMTgpa9Boc829nl91zSIQfZTXKrs_y-gCHMYCw/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523448_thumb%255B3%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I was inspired by the current color palette for <a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Color Throwdown</a> #448.</p><p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jXN2skbi5d8/WU85CJnBLkI/AAAAAAAAilQ/7MTsqTCQxGw06uI943lM_l6kXKyj_0c7gCHMYCw/s1600-h/swatch448%255B3%255D"><img width="428" height="318" title="swatch448" style="display: inline; background-image: none;" alt="swatch448" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_chV7C1kJyU/WU85CxiBz5I/AAAAAAAAilU/VPvi1jc3I1Us4OJhW9ahcJjDn2R1b3zuwCHMYCw/swatch448_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>I used <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=lavender+fields" target="_blank">Lavender Fields</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cotton+candy" target="_blank">Cotton Candy</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=spearmint" target="_blank">Spearmint</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=green-eyed+monster" target="_blank">Green-Eyed Monster</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=razzle+berry" target="_blank">Razzle Berry</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=blu+raspberry" target="_blank">Blu Raspberry</a>, and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=tropical+teal" target="_blank">Tropical Teal</a> dye inks from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a> to stamp the leaves and flowers, and to watercolor the background, then embellished simply with some <a href="https://www.shopprettypinkposh.com/SparklingClearMix-p/mix01.htm" target="_blank">Sparking Clear Sequins</a> from Pretty Pink Posh..</p><p>That’s all for me today… thanks for stopping by! Plus it made for a great excuse to do a little shopping at <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>, and I picked up the sweet <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-home-sweet-home-4125" target="_blank">Home Sweet Home Die-Namics</a>, and the matching <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/no-place-like-home" target="_blank">No Place Like Home</a> stamps. And this is what I created…</font></p><p><font size="3"></font><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-nZ-2izcTezo/WUarilq0BBI/AAAAAAAAikY/20yDH6leA2srO9s28HanJBE1gdagXmP_QCHMYCw/s1600-h/for%2BKaylie%2Band%2BCorey%255B4%255D"><img width="708" height="420" title="for Kaylie and Corey" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="for Kaylie and Corey" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-Zzw6L2panfg/WUarjF7u_gI/AAAAAAAAikc/AINjtKD-H18I1yZEFeEQRPtHPSBewzhSgCHMYCw/for%2BKaylie%2Band%2BCorey_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a><br clear="all">I bought this panoramic 10”x4” picture frame on Amazon to frame up these sweet little houses! Today I thought I’d share something different with you. In addition to stamping, I love Vintage things! Take me antique shopping, and you’ll make me happy! What’s my favorite thing to look for? PYREX! I’ve always loved it, but shortly after my Dad passed away is when my addiction really took off. My parents were divorced, and when we cleaned out my Dad’s house, I discovered some Pryex pieces that my Mom had left behind when she moved out, and of course brought them home with me. And that’s what got me started with wanting more! Fortunately (and sometimes UNfortunately!) that bug has also bit my husband, and he has been known to go to auctions where Pyrex is advertised, and buys it <em>just because it’s Pyrex.</em> So, to some extent, we’ve gotten a little carried away with the collecting. BUT, if you look at the collections of some people I follow on Facebook and Instagram, my collection is pretty meager in comparison! </p><p>There’s a favorite antique store near me that posted some photos on Facebook late last week. In one photo was a darling little white cabinet with open shelves at the top and I just could not get that cabinet out of my head. With my Pyrex collection, I have really struggled with a good way to display things. That’s partially due to the fact that even though I do have a large kitchen, it’s got two refrigerators in it! Yes, I said TWO! There’s the large stainless steel Frigidaire that we use everyday, and then there’s the 1950’s Westinghouse! It was in my parent’s basement all my life… the previous owners left it behind when they sold the house to my Mom and Dad in 1970. And as a kid, I just loved that old thing! It had the coolest push button on the front to open it that I always thought was so fascinating. So it was one of the first things I called dibs on when we started cleaning out my Dad’s house. I let my husband remove the compressor from it to make it lighter and easier to move, so it no longer works. My Mom used to plug it in and use when we’d have holiday gatherings, and it might still have worked but none of us had the guts to plug it in and see what happened! So now I use it as a storage cabinet in my kitchen… inside it are my Tervis cups, food processor, Foreman grill, vegetable steamer, kitchen rags, wine glasses, miscellaneous dishes, and the door even holds canned goods! You’d be surprised at how much I have in there! But anyway, I digress… back to the darling little white cabinet! It’s size appealed to me, because I thought it might just fit perfectly in the space beside my old Westinghouse! So my hubby and I headed to the antique store after church on Sunday (it’s called <a href="https://www.facebook.com/journeyintime/" target="_blank">Journey in Time</a>… if you’ve ever in Northeast Ohio be sure to check it out!) and I found the darling little white cabinet, and fell in love! Luckily, it fit in the back of my car with the back seats folded down, and so we brought it home!</p><p>And so today I just wanted to share with you some photos of my “new” cabinet and my pretty Pyrex collection!</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-01N-19XriK0/WThxka3BGfI/AAAAAAAAiis/7nJU0ilzWVI8Yz6FqZFOFjleGNTrVx5nACHM/s1600-h/14"><img width="663" height="883" title="1" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="1" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-E_Gwv0I44q0/WThxlUWZtgI/AAAAAAAAiiw/UHHVTlVtoeMl7F9KFbnTbhcRqdr5boGwwCHM/1_thumb2?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Isn’t it pretty? I LOVE the shabbiness… it’s all part of the charm. Maybe someday I’ll strip and repaint it, but for now I love it just the way it is. Everything on the cabinet is Pyrex, except the clear glass dish on the top shelf center…it’s Heisy glass. Something my husband got at an auction that he thinks is fascinating, so I indulged him and displayed it. And behind the bowls on the top shelf is a metal tray, I thought looked good there for contrast.</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EeiIjevFzOs/WThxmLC1s6I/AAAAAAAAii0/jdH2NHYlUVERhdF3chC3X8wrGhu3swN1gCHM/s1600-h/211"><img width="652" height="867" title="2" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="2" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EoqtE_yeQ1s/WThxm-Psa1I/AAAAAAAAii4/iEUoG8umP049aJr1p6hhzAWk3xUSxdzDwCHM/2_thumb7?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>Here you can see the Westinghouse… I’ve even got the original owners manual inside! The push button on the door is permanently broken, thanks for a daughter’s former boyfriend. <img class="wlEmoticon wlEmoticon-sadsmile" alt="Sad smile" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wuP0lZTViiA/WThxnExthaI/AAAAAAAAii8/I6XwPz5NtYATP3SJ19wbrbYYluWVtmTxwCHM/wlEmoticon-sadsmile2?imgmax=800"> So the door no longer closes completely, but you probably wouldn’t notice if I didn’t tell you? On the top of the fridge I have a Vintage straw picnic basket with a tablecloth, a tin cake carrier, and a Premium saltine cracker tin. You see those Premium cracker tins a LOT, but mine is different because the panel on one side is in Spanish!</p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-qveoPS1cMts/WTh1ZfirkfI/AAAAAAAAijQ/cd4YJ08P3BgEsXWj0HIPP5eKXG_LfVBGQCHM/s1600-h/3%255B4%255D"><img width="565" height="702" title="3" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="3" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-7lUR44NMpig/WTh1aAAhbdI/AAAAAAAAijU/fHuCQHWQ9T8JOj0gTw5Nl3jm2lw1MYJDgCHM/3_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>On this little white cart (another auction find from my hubby!) I have some more dishes, including all of my Town & Country collection pieces. The Town & Country set of Cinderella bowls on the bottom shelf were the ones I found in my Dad’s kitchen… they had been a wedding or possibly a wedding shower gift to my Mom in 1963. They’re a little on the plain side, and not very pretty but I love them because of where they came from! On the top shelf there are some blue and red “fridgies” (as Pyrex collectors call them) and a few other Vintage items including old salt & pepper shakers, metal trays and a juice pitcher. The “hen” is a ceramic piece given to me by my Mom when I moved into my own home. I’m honestly not sure if she pained it, or if it was painted by the lady who taughter her to do ceramics. </p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_hvzupH_FO4/WTh1ajjKZPI/AAAAAAAAijY/5RBpG1cPuwATTse74c4_IhDUg9I0HspwACHM/s1600-h/4%255B4%255D"><img width="602" height="802" title="4" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="4" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-NWoJ1LRSspg/WTh1btRyFgI/AAAAAAAAijc/thE9gPSfKUYyjx_M0D6vSgGyk8GcGdRqQCHM/4_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vyyKkeF_px4/WTh1b1FmOcI/AAAAAAAAijg/dztBH_h7Eq0_dvh4AnQM6US0OGJFrUQOQCHM/s1600-h/6%255B5%255D"><img width="603" height="802" title="6" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="6" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-j0WUEFl7XO4/WTh1c77KMhI/AAAAAAAAijk/G6U78rqpzZU-lBlYivOSZ1hSquzySUqxwCHM/6_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a>There’s room in the bottom of the cabinet for pieces I’m not currently displaying. (And that’s gotten filled up more since the photo was taken as I’ve found more pieces around the house that were being stored that I had forgotten about!) Don’t you just LOVE those snowflakes? I’d LOVE to find a few more pieces like that before next Winter to create a fun display!<br></p><p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-656xg-BZ6h0/WTh1dvJmeFI/AAAAAAAAijo/HjoyFuJjdrk66Ar7jsaJD8KEf4vYvbhXgCHM/s1600-h/5%255B5%255D"><img width="633" height="843" title="5" style="margin-right: auto; margin-left: auto; float: none; display: block; background-image: none;" alt="5" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wd9FKw-3S5o/WTh1eV_99PI/AAAAAAAAijs/Qd26DaEoT_MM-yJtSgXpaSUI6sKsfB3fgCHM/5_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" border="0"></a></p><p>And the drawers even have room for some extra lids I don’t currently need in my display, and my Pyrex collectors guidebook!</p><p>So, thanks for indulging me today and for stopping by to see a bit of my Vintage kitchen!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com5tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1850445710063780803.post-67098490559754058742017-05-29T21:30:00.003-04:002017-06-04T07:16:31.477-04:00Hello There FloralsHello friends, me again! I've so loved this beautiful 3-day weekend! A great time to remember the sacrifice of our soldiers AND their families who enable us to be free.<br />
<br />
I was so happy to have extra time for "therapy", aka stamping! I made this card on Monday, using the current <a href="http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2017/05/case-this-sketch-223_25.html">CAS(E) this Sketch #223</a> for inspiration...<br />
<br />

<br />
Even though this stamp set from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/">My Favorite Things</a> is called <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/fall-florals">Fall Florals</a>, I LOVE using it for any season... the flowers in this set just have a cool, funky vibe and they're fun to use. I stamped my flowers in a variety of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=dye+ink+pads">dye inks</a> from MFT, then arranged them all on the background oval that was made using the Die-Namics <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-stitched-oval-scallop-edge-frames">Stitched Oval Scallop Edge Frames</a>, and behind the oval matted a piece of paper from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/supplies/patterned-paper/dots-stripes-confection-paper-pack">Dots & Stripes Confections</a> 6x6 paper pack. I added a sentiment from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/more-essential-sentiments-4311">More Essential Sentiments</a> on a piece of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/coral-crush-prestige-card-stock">Coral Crush</a> card stock that was die-cut using the current <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/free-with-60">Free-with-$60 Essential Fishtail Sentiment Strips</a>. On the white card stock background, I stamped the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/cling-rubber/bg-distressed-stripes-background">BG Distressed Stripes</a> background with Versamark ink, and embossed with white embossing powder.<br />
<br />
Here's the sketch I used from CAS(E) this Sketch...<br />

The stamp set <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/sushi-date">Sushi Date</a> was a must-have when it was released a few months ago... we are big sushi lovers at my house! I used the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-sushi-date">matching Die-Namics</a> set, and colored the images with Copic markers. For the square element in the sketch, I pulled out the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/frames/die-namics-stitched-rounded-square-frames">Stitched Rounded Square Frames</a> Die-Namics, and cut the frame from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=orange+zest">Orange Zest</a> card stock. Behind the frame, I added a double-ended fishtail flag that came from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/blueprints/die-namics-blueprints-12">Blueprints 12</a> cut from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=persimmon">Persimmon</a> card stock. On the white card stock background, I stamped the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/clear-stamps/cling-rubber/bg-diagonal-stripes-background">BG Diagonal Stripes</a> background in Versamark ink, then embossed with white embossing powder. On the lower half of the card, I added a piece of patterned paper in Berrylicious that came from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/supplies/patterned-paper/graphic-grid-paper-pack">Graphic Grid 6x6 paper pack</a>. The stitched, rounded edge on the white card stock was achieved by using the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-stitched-basic-edges">Die-Namics Stitched Basic Edges</a>. I matted everything on a piece of <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=gravel+gray">Gravel Gray</a> card stock, and embellished with some enamel dots.<br />
<br />
I hope you're having a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!<br />

I got some new stamps recently from <a href="http://altenew.com/" target="_blank">Altenew</a>, and promptly started inking up the new <a href="https://altenew.com/collections/featured-collection/products/spring-daisy" target="_blank">Spring Daisy</a> stamp set for this card…</p> <p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-jbgYeQF89E0/WSnySvbWtrI/AAAAAAAAigs/KiAhuQgvqf0oOGtC0EasdR_5_xhzV6kkwCHM/s1600-h/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523444%255B4%255D"><img title="Color Throwdown #444" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left: 0px; display: block; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto" border="0" alt="Color Throwdown #444" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-sK8jeK2Q4eg/WSnyTB5chEI/AAAAAAAAigw/0l6KqeyJ9lIMwuPNuDOKcPjWP_6lGmpSACHM/Color%2BThrowdown%2B%2523444_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" width="592" height="731"></a></p> <p>I masked fhe big daisy in the center front, and added the second one behind it, then masked both daisies to add the leaves. Everything was stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Stamp-EMBOSSING-POWDER-CLEAR-Fine-Detail-ClearEP1-ClearEP1?currency=USD" target="_blank">clear embossing powder</a>, then I watercolored using my <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/search.aspx?currency=USD&q=zig+clean+color" target="_blank">Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers</a>. I added some ink spatters and sequins for embellishment. The sentiment was created by using the small <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product/Simon-Says-Stamp-YOU-Craft-Die-S146-51691?currency=USD" target="_blank">You craft die</a> and the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product?id=357761" target="_blank">You Matter</a> stamp set from <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/" target="_blank">Simon Says</a>.</p> <p>I was inspired by the current colors of <a href="http://colorthrowdown.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Color Throwdown #444</a>, and the inspiration photo at <a href="http://inspiredbyallthelittlethings.blogspot.com/2017/05/inspired-by-58-featuring-donna-mikasa.html" target="_blank">Inspired by All the Little Things #58</a> to create this card.</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-17_IQzKau6A/WSnyTq6bRSI/AAAAAAAAig0/4C-oAdpUEo4OWFWDLduyTfl5Kk1SU9CkgCHM/s1600-h/swatch444%255B3%255D"><img title="swatch444" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="swatch444" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-uyRj8tMoi9E/WSnyT_nNAeI/AAAAAAAAig4/OFGLQh_4gFAa16BUCWvJug97RtG0dK8rwCHM/swatch444_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="311" height="431"></a></p> <p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-20toeHrvsGc/WSnyUaDnaDI/AAAAAAAAig8/JT04r_SgYz0I6_vxtA5QMBOB-4is-PvbgCHM/s1600-h/58%255B3%255D"><img title="58" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left: 0px; display: block; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto" border="0" alt="58" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-eR43URKYg2s/WSnyUkL02cI/AAAAAAAAihA/D0fRdf3iwxYtttKIO6hbMLINKwscrcCMQCHM/58_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="288" height="465"></a></p> <p>I hope you’re having a fabulous weekend! Here’s the inspiration photo…</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vYmYDPLI8as/WSJV0gkG3QI/AAAAAAAAif4/V3orPfhQ0i4DC8ZIRcQnEbQ07KliIns0QCHM/s1600-h/57%255B3%255D"><img title="57" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="57" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-mzXVG03IdXg/WSJV1N5YagI/AAAAAAAAif8/Scrp7bCVQ_o66nU5F4y0xFw6iapA_5RgQCHM/57_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="296" height="478"></a></p> <p>My beautiful <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/sc/productsearch.cgi?search_field=%20.Multi%20Step%20Tulip%20Garden" target="_blank">Multi-Step Tulip Garden</a> stamp set from <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/index.html" target="_blank">Kitchen Sink Stamps</a> has been severely neglected, so I got it out and got it inky! This set has always been one of my favorites, as tulips have always been a favorite for me, too. Here’s my card…</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ET0T6iOxL_s/WSJV1pQQD8I/AAAAAAAAigA/Cxf22D87ukI5PTVwBxFoNKKPSAeX5FG-wCHM/s1600-h/Hello%2BTulip%255B4%255D"><img title="Hello Tulip" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="Hello Tulip" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-UIUwl-BwgHw/WSJV12eBjkI/AAAAAAAAigE/pKNEbv0QLy0Lsa9F07KFFznKEVDzhMqNwCHM/Hello%2BTulip_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800" width="649" height="816"></a></p> <p>I stamped my tulip using <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT</a> dye inks, in order from darkest to lightest, <a href="https://www.kitchensinkstamps.com/shop/sc/productsearch.cgi?search_field=%20.Multi%20Step%20Tulip%20Garden" target="_blank">Brick Red</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=persimmon" target="_blank">Persimmon</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=coral+crush" target="_blank">Coral Crush</a> and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=peach+bellini" target="_blank">Peach Bellini</a>. And stamped the leaves in <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=jellybean+green" target="_blank">Jellybean Green</a> (darkest) <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=jellybean+green" target="_blank">Jellybean Green</a> (stamped off once for the medium layer) and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=sour+apple" target="_blank">Sour Apple</a> (lightest). I die-cut the piece after stamping using the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics/stax/die-namics-stitched-mini-scallop-rectangle-stax" target="_blank">Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX</a> Die-Namics, then masked off the scallops and sponged some Antique Linen ink around the inside perimeter. On the background piece, I stamped a linen background using Whip Cream ink so it’s just very subtle. Then I added a strip of plaid paper from the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/subtle-plaids-paper-pack" target="_blank">Subtle Plaid 6x6</a> paper pack. I used the <a href="http://www.wplus9.com/hand-lettered-hello-die/" target="_blank">Hand Lettered Hello</a> die from Wplus9 Design for the sentiment, die-cut from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=blu+raspberry" target="_blank">Blu Raspberry</a> card stock. I cut two layers, glued them together, then applied a layer of <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product.aspx?id=34596" target="_blank">Glossy Accents</a> for dimenion. I finished the card with a few sequins (plus a LOT more that I spilled as I was putting them away!)</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-I-I42dJsv4s/WSJV2ZKR3PI/AAAAAAAAigI/rbNIOInaVT0gbzvt5bUWibISUlsft1JyACHM/s1600-h/18620171_10213379098177648_8257830821626174039_n%255B3%255D"><img title="18620171_10213379098177648_8257830821626174039_n" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="18620171_10213379098177648_8257830821626174039_n" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zKByEIJt7jc/WSJV2oc4wJI/AAAAAAAAigM/J1MVLEzuV-kD2cVtMPYIQNTZep0guYKNgCHM/18620171_10213379098177648_8257830821626174039_n_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="377" height="385"></a></p> <p>THAT was a fun mess to clean up! It was a chilly, damp day in my neck of the woods… a good day to stay inside and stamp, which is exactly what I did! I pulled out what’s becoming a favorite stamp set, the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/bold-blooms" target="_blank">Bold Blooms</a> from <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">My Favorite Things</a>, and made this card using the colors for the current color challenge on the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT Challenge & Inspiration</a> blog…</p> <p><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-aHAORPGK9AA/WSESwMcVPSI/AAAAAAAAies/UHVuH8CKHyQ_WHCLBw_vrP6BO5Vt9DpUgCHM/s1600-h/Hello%2BBlooms%255B3%255D"><img title="Hello Blooms" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left: 0px; display: block; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto" border="0" alt="Hello Blooms" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-EYhlap3-ZJM/WSESwTKMDbI/AAAAAAAAiew/SwJJYHj8C6A3nskpcqDHlo3WidTKPVAQQCHM/Hello%2BBlooms_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="661" height="851"></a></p> <p>I had some initial reservations about these colors… <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=cotton+candy" target="_blank">Cotton Candy</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=ripe+raspberry" target="_blank">Ripe Raspberry</a>, <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=safety+orange" target="_blank">Safety Orange</a> and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=steel+grey" target="_blank">Steel Grey</a>. I’m a big fan of orange, but <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=safety+orange" target="_blank">Safety Orange</a> isn’t a very pretty shade. But I truly ended up liking this combination, and even found that grey for the “greenery” looks kind of cool! Along with the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/bold-blooms" target="_blank">Bold Blooms</a> stamp set and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/die-namics-bold-blooms" target="_blank">matching Die-Namics</a>, I used a new die, the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/brand-spankin-new/die-namics-square-peek-a-boo-window" target="_blank">Die-Namics Square Peek-a-Boo Window</a>, and also the <a href="https://www.simonsaysstamp.com/product.aspx?id=300759" target="_blank">Label Love</a> stamp set. I embellished with some dark grey sequins.</p> <p>I may have gone a little overboard, but my layout was inspired by the current <a href="http://casethissketch.blogspot.com/2017/05/case-this-sketch-223.html" target="_blank">CAS(E) this Sketch #222</a>!</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8q6UTSosYPY/WSESw2hX9-I/AAAAAAAAie0/E5lwZL-ulUAPz-AKUvjlaS1JS4hDeGQLQCHM/s1600-h/CTS_222%255B3%255D"><img title="CTS_222" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="CTS_222" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_7nIOU8k7zw/WSESxDSbjXI/AAAAAAAAie4/8FbiI1PHY4If0mr617YzuPsnVoFbdKcdgCHM/CTS_222_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="272" height="390"></a></p> <p>Here’s the color swatch for the current <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/" target="_blank">MFT</a> color challenge…</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/--DI_Oa8nYjg/WSESxrM1sQI/AAAAAAAAie8/CcSyQxxj5ok6THZvF1TrrM6R1-Q0T5UkwCHM/s1600-h/MFT_ColorChallenge_PaintBook_69%255B3%255D"><img title="MFT_ColorChallenge_PaintBook_69" style="border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px" border="0" alt="MFT_ColorChallenge_PaintBook_69" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-wf171xP_SMQ/WSESx_Y7FOI/AAAAAAAAifA/jPwRtGKqJWMEh84iQHvRnnT-P_uKZ3shACHM/MFT_ColorChallenge_PaintBook_69_thumb%255B1%255D?imgmax=800" width="575" height="135"></a></p> <p>Hope your weekend is great… thanks for stopping by!</p>Tammy Hershbergerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/18329576149601908839noreply@blogger.com3
