I made this card several weeks ago for the Color Throwdown challenge, and the next day got an email from a customer… “my daughter loves giraffes, she loves yellow, her birthday is coming… could you make me a card for her?” Well, how could I say no especially when it gives me another chance to use this darling image? :)
This sweet Giraffe Girl Pure Innocence image from My Favorite Things definitely ranks high on my list of ca-uuuute stamps! I decided to pair the yellow with a little green for this design, and found this yellow measuring tape-like paper in the Echo Park “For the Record 2” paper pad to be a great addition to my design. (I love the play on coming a “long way” paired with the long neck of the giraffe and the measurements!) The layout I used for the card is from this months guest designer sketch challenge for My Favorite Things. I used several Die-Namics for my design, too… the Rounded Banner STAX, Fresh Cut Grass, Little Open Scallop Strip and Flat-Bottom Clouds.
And here’s how I did up the inside…
I hope my customer loves the card as much as I do… I almost don’t want to part with it! LOL (And I hope MFT loves it enough, too!)
Thanks so much for stopping by, and happy stamping!
