Color Throwdown #288
Hello friends… it’s time for another Color Throwdown challenge, and this week Melody is our hostess with this beautiful Spring color combo! I hope you’ll join us at the CTD blog and play along!
For my card, I just had to use some new products I just got from My Favorite Things…
I started out being inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch #215 for this week for the layout, then pulled out my brand spankin’ new Blueprints 14 Die-Namics for the rounded-corner sentiment panel, and the great flower and leaves. The sentiment comes from the Chalkboard Greetings stamp set, and I stamped it in Versamark and embossed with white powder. The pink piece was cut Blueprints 13 Die-Namics, and then I used the Brick Wall stencil and some translucent embossing paste in the background. I added a Razzle Berry button center to the flower, and some enamel dots for embellishment.
Please be sure to stop by the CTD blog for all the challenge details, and visit my Throwdown sisters for more inspiration…

Super cute card! Love the colors!
So pretty Tammy. Love the big flower and the brick design in the background.
Our brains were in sync again with both using the pink as the predominant color - lol! This is beautiful and love the new MFT goodies you used!
Gawjus, gf! That clear embossing paste gives great texture and interest! Love this!
So bright and happy...love this awesome design, Tammy!!! Love how you used the embossing paste, too!!!
Love it!! So you went shopping without me too :)
I struggled a bit with these colors but you combined them so seemingly effortlessly, Tammy! Love the embossing paste on the background and those happy, bright blooms. So happy to be on your team this week!
