Color Throwdown #63 with Unity

Hey all, it's time for another Color Throwdown, and this week Cathy has a fabulous Fall color combo for you to try, that includes my favorite... KRAFT cardstock! Kraft goes with everything! Kraft is GOOD! Embrace the kraft! :)

We also have a wonderful sponsor this week for our challenge, Unity Stamps! This was my first chance to work with stamps from Unity and I must say they are nice! Great quality rubber, perfectly die-cut and cling-mounted stamps! And I LOVE their packaging, too! Check out the Throwdown blog for the great prize that Unity has donated for one lucky winner! I can't wait to see your creations!

I have to admit, I struggled at first with what to do for this challenge, as Angela sent me the great Stylin' Stars stamp set. I guess I get in a rut, and with stars I automatically think red, white and blue. So what I was going to do with this color combo was beyond me! Until Cathy reminded me of those great rustic stars that everyone has on their houses and barns these days, and the lightbulb went on! So I went with a rustic charm for my card, and was SO happy to find this star button in my stash too, to perfectly finish off my design!
We have a wonderful new guest designer for the month of October! She is Lisa Kind, and she's such a fabulous designer! She's always got terrific designs on her blog each week, Kind Creations. Be sure to check out her cute card for today's challenge!

See what my Throwdown sisters have created today too, if you need further inspiration, then get busy on your krafty goodness cards!

Happy stamping!
