Summer Sunflower

Sunflowers are always a favorite of mine, so using the gorgeous LJD Splendid Sunflower stamp and matching Die-Namics from My Favorite Things for the circle element in this week’s sketch #181 worked just perfectly…

I stamped the sunflower using Lemon Drop hybrid ink, and in the center used Hot Fudge hybrid ink and Steel Gray hybrid ink.  I used the new BG Gingham background stamp on the Berrylicious cardstock stamped in Berrylicious hybrid ink.  I added a frame around everything from Black Licorice cardstock, cut with the Die-Namics Rectangle Frames.  I added some depth to my sunflower by coloring the petals with Copic markers.  Other products I used are linked below.
I didn’t really have a spot on the front for a sentiment, so on the inside I added…

…another sunflower stamped in Lemon Drop hybrid ink, and a sentiment from Blue Skies Ahead stamped in Steel Gray hybrid ink.
