You’re Sweet! - MFTWSC184

MFTWSC184 close-up
I had a little stampy time after work this week, so I just had to make a card using the new sketch #184 from My Favorite Things!
MFTWSC184
Very often when a sketch has a circle element like this, I like to think about what else I can use in that spot.  Most often, my mind goes directly to my Splendid Sunflower stamps and Die-Namics, but I fear you all will leave me if I use it again anytime soon!  :)  So I looked over my Die-Namics for something else I could use, and there up high… feeling neglected… was my Red Delicious Die-Namics die!  So here’s what I created…
My Favorite Things Sketch #184 by Tammy Hershberger
My Red Delicious apple was cut from Wild Cherry card stock, and the BG Gingham background was stamped on it in Wild Cherry hybrid ink.  The leaves were cut from Jellybean Green card stock, and the stem from Chocolate Brown card stock.  I used my Pierced Rectangle STAX Die-Namics to cut a panel from Berrylicious card stock,
and stamped it with the BG Grid background in Berrylicious hybrid ink.  To create a border between the apple and the sentiment flag as shown in the sketch, I used the punched dots die from Blueprints 14.  On the Fishtail Flags STAX I stamped a sentiment from the Chocolate Sentiments stamp set in Steel Gray hybrid ink, and added a Wild Cherry button on the flag with some hemp cord.  I used the Blueprints 13 to cut the Wild Cherry card stock base, and stamped it in Paver Red hybrid ink with the BG Gingham background.  I turned my center panel at a slight angle just for a little more interest.  :)
Here are my supplies…

I would never leave you over a flower die, but if you start talking thrash about PI then...
