Catered Crop Recipe Swap-Think Green

With Earth Day and Arbor Day on the horizon, Linda has a great Recipe Swap going on right now over at the Catered Crop blog!  Here are the details, and some inspiration…
Make a project that includes the color green and come join our party. And, of course, be sure to recycle your scraps.
  • Include a link to us at Catered Crop or add our button, which you can grab on our sidebar or at our {button gallery}.
  • Link up and link often, but be sure you link up by 8:00 PM EST on Saturday, April 26.
  • Keep the party hopping by visiting the other players and leaving comments.
  • Check back with us on April 27 to see if you’ve won an opportunity to be a guest designer.
For my “green” card I decided to pull out my not-yet-used Mighty Oak stamp set and dies from Papertrey Ink.  I just HAD to have these stamps and dies, waited and waited for them to be back in stock, finally ordered, and then set them aside!  So I decided this challenge would be PERFECT to finally get these used!
Catered Crop - Green
I kept my design pretty simple because it seems like my stamping time has been at a premium lately, and I just wanted to get this done.  If I were to make another card like this, I’d sponge in a blue sky, and some grass at the bottom for starters.  It was FUN to go through my scraps and find this variety of green papers to use, too!  Even my teenage daughter said “hey, that’s cool!” so I know it’s a good card!
Be sure to stop over at the Catered Crop blog for all the challenge details and join us!
Thanks so much for stopping by!  And Happy Easter… Christ is risen!

What an amazingly beautiful card! I love how you inlaid the tree and leaves into the main panel of the card and I adore all of the soft, pretty greens you used for the leaves!

I want this die so badly and I have never gotten it. But your card put it right back at the top of my wishlist. Such fabulous patterned leaves on your tree!
