TCPTuesday 287 – Anything Goes
It’s time for a brand new TCPTuesday challenge for The Cat’s Pajamas! Today’s challenge is always a favorite because it’s ANYTHING GOES!
I used the pretty Lacy Petal Posies Cutups die and the 5 Petal Posies Cutups die for the big flower on my card, and added a sentiment from the Simply Said stamp set. The background panel was embossed with polka dots using the Dots Cutups panel.
I made this card for the new release Pajama Party a couple of weeks ago, but just hadn’t shared it here yet, so the Anything Goes challenge was perfect timing! I hope you’ll join us for the challenge… you could have the chance to win some Cat Cash, and be chosen as our next Swanky Stamper! Find all the challenge details on the TCP blog!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Birthday Gift Card Sets
Set #1
I was at a crop a few weeks ago with some local friends, and the fabulous Lindsay Amrhein made this beautiful card while we were there, and I knew I had to CASE it. I don’t think my version is anywhere close to the beauty of her card, but I tried! Stamps: Wplus9 Design Studio Pretty Peonies, My Favorite Things LJD Spring Tulips (sentiment)
I knew Mom would want some “manly” birthday cards too, so I went and CASE’d my own design from a few years ago for these cards. The strips on the white card stock ore washi tape. Supplies: The Mustache stamp set and Mustache Cutups die from The Cat’s Pajamas.
Here’s another set… I feel I failed miserably in attempting to CASE Dawn McVey’s pretty card, but I sure had fun trying! Stamps: Wplus9 Design Studio Fresh Cut Florals, Papertrey Ink Mini Blooms
I spotted this pretty card by Debby Hughes on Pinterest a few days ago, and knew it’d be a good one to CASE. Here’s my version (but I still like hers better!) Stamps: LJD Blissful Butterflies, Get Well Wishes, BG Romantic Script background, BG Notebook Paper background, LJD Blissful Butterflies Die-Namics, LJD Scribbles Die-Namics, Notebook Edge Die-Namics (all supplies from My Favorite Things)
And finally, my CASE of this pretty card I also found on Pinterest recently. Just love the pink on the tree for Spring. The tree stamp set here is Giving Thanks from Simon Says Stamp, and the sentiment is from Impression Obsession.
That’s all…. thanks for stopping by!

Color Throwdown #335
I got a new stamp set this week, so I just couldn’t resist using it for my card today. And I used the current Sweet Sunday Sketch #261 (except that I tilted my background panels a little!)
My stamp set is the new Brushed Blooms from Papertrey Ink, and the matching die. On the yellow background panel, I added some texture with some translucent embossing paste and the Harlequin stencil from My Favorite Things.
We’ve got something new on the CTD blog… we’re now on Instagram! Be sure to follow us by searching for colorthrowdown. You’ll be able to get sneak peeks of the upcoming challenges, and you also might find your card featured there one day!

I made a new card this week using the sketch and the new Lacey Petal Posies, 5 Petal Posies, and Leaf Scroll Cutups. The square panel behind the flower was dry embossed with the Dots Cutups plate.

Color Throwdown #334
It's time for another Color Throwdown, and this week I'm hosting the challenge. I bought a new Vera Bradley purse a few weeks ago in my favorite color (love me some orange!) and thought "these colors would make for a good challenge!" So I hope you'll join us this week and create some orange, pink and navy things for me to see.
Several weeks ago, that darn ol' Broni made another card that had me drooling... she's very good at inspiring me and forcing me to spend money! Only problem was, the Circle Scribbles die she used on this card was sold out when I went to buy it. But lo and behold, if My Favorite Things didn't come to my rescue with their recent release and now I have the darling LJD Scribbles Die-Namics to use instead! Here's my card...
I cut the Scribbles from Cotton Candy card stock, then added some flowers from the Wplus9 Design Studio Fresh Cut Florals stamped in orange inks. The navy blue card stock background was embossed with a chevron stencil, and I finished the design with a sentiment flag and enamel dots.
Be sure to stop by the CTD blog for all the challenge details, and visit my Throwdown sisters for more inspiration.

The Cat’s Pajamas New Release Spring Blog Hop
Well, Sneaky Peek week is officially over, and you can now shop for all the great new stamps and dies that are available at The Cat’s Pajamas! And to finish up the week, The Cat Pack has a blog hop for you in conjunction with TCPTuesday #286 today which is a sketch challenge! Be sure to head over to the TCP blog for all the challenge details so you can join us, and win some Cat Cash!
Here’s our sketch for this challenge…
I like square cards, so I’m not really sure why I chose to make mine A2, but I did. (You’ll have to excuse my tired old brain… I made this two weeks ago!) I used one of the sentiments from the set to create a little background behind the penguin, and added a starry background by using the little star stamp from the Simply Said stamp set. I also used my Bitty Banners Cutups dies for one of the flags under my square center panel.
If you’re not here from Lori Tecler’s blog, you’ll want to go to Lisa Henke's blog to start from the beginning for this Spring Blog Hop! And from here, you’ll need to head over to Christine Okken’s blog to keep the hop moving!
Many thanks for all your visits and comments this week with the Sneaky Peeks, and happy shopping!

The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek #7
We’re almost there! Tonight will be the big Pajama Party at Splitcoaststampers, and tomorrow you can buy all the new Sneaky Peek stamps and dies we’ve been sharing with you for the past week!
For today, you’ll find the Cat Pack sharing creations made with the new Cutups die sets that are being released, so be sure to stop over at the TCP blog for all the details!
Here’s my card for today…
I used the new Lacey Posies Cutups die to cut a few pieces of acetate. Then I laid the die-cut acetate pieces on to a piece of white card stock, and sprayed with a turquoise shimmer spray. I added a sentiment from the new Patterned Petals stamp set, and a few sequins for embellishment. Across the bottom I added a border die-cut with the Queen of Hearts Cutups.
Here’s a little close-up…. I hope you can see the shimmer.

The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek #6
Thankfully, I don’t have a need for this card right now, but I just couldn’t resist making this with a breast cancer survivor theme. I stamped the ribbon in pink behind the Keep Calm sentiment, and added the black strip of card stock that was cut with the new Wavy Stitched Border die. The layout for my card was inspired by the Sweet Sunday Sketch #251.
On the inside I added…

The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek #5
How fun is this for a graduation card? The Cascade Card is easy to cut and assemble, including the mats to layer. I simply stamped my penguin and cut him out, then stamped the sentiments and added them to the card and this was honestly a very quick creation. When you’re on your way out the door for a graduation party, and suddenly remember you didn’t make a card, you can fire up your Silhouette and quickly make this happen! :)

The Cat’s Pajamas-Sneaky Peek #4
Bunny is trying to build up some muscles, and has a helper perched there on the barbell, shouting encouragement! They’re just too cute together! Now, my card was made a week early so I’d be ready for all the Sneaky Peeks this week, so it’s too late to enter but I did use the color combo from the ColourQ #282, and the MojoMonday sketch #387 for inspiration. My bunny was colored with Copics, and my card was finished with some baker’s twine and enamel dots.

The Cat’s Pajamas Sneaky Peek Day 3
Hey all, it’s Day 3 of Sneaky Peeks from The Cat’s Pajamas, and today we’re featuring a new stamp set designed by our own, Nancy Thomas! This is the new Patterned Petals stamp set, and it pairs beautifully with some fantastic matching dies! I made my card for you today using the new set, along with one of the new Cutables digital cut files that will be available Tuesday!
Here is my Half-Diamond Fold Cutables card, along with the new Patterned Petals stamps and dies. I kept the design pretty simple, and just let the pretty flower do the work here. The Cutables digital file makes neat cards like this SO easy to create! Stay tuned… I’ll have another one to share with you later in the week.
Here’s what it looks like on the inside when you unfold the card…
The nice thing about the cut files is that Alma designs them with the mats that fit perfectly, too! So I was able to cut pieces of this polka dot designer paper to layer on the card.
Here are some details you need to know:
1. All the new stamps and dies will be released on Tuesday, March 17.
