The Color Throwdown team is celebrating a very special occasion today... our 200th Color Throwdown! This little ol' Color Challenge was started in July 2008, and we're proud to say we're still going strong, and love all our participants each week! Be sure to stop over at the Throwdown blog for all the challenge details today, because everyone on the team has some prizes to share on their blogs, and you'll want to check out the rules for playing along this week!
For my card, I found my papers from Simple Stories "Fabulous" paper pad to be a good match for these colors. I decided to use my Vertical Greetings II Stamps and Die-Namics from My Favorite Things on my card, along with some Mini Rolled Roses, and an Little Open Scallop Border. The layout for my card comes from the great sketch we had at Flourishes this past week! I embellished with some silver flat-back pearls, and some celery twill ribbon.
And speaking of Flourishes, I've got some wonderful Flourishes stamp sets... From the Garden and Seeds of Friendship... to share with you today as a prize for playing along with this very special Color Throwdown! You can see them below, and can see how I used them a few weeks ago on this card below (ironically in colors that also fit with today's challenge!) I'm also planning to throw some other goodies in with these stamps, just as soon as I receive an order! Whoever wins will just have to wait to be surprised!

I so love those garden stamps! I recently posted a card to my blog that used some patterned paper that looked like seed packets and that got me thinking about making a garden album.
