Flourishes New Release #1 - Hydrangeas

It's new release time again at Flourishes and this month we're rolling out some more gorgeous stamp sets for you to enjoy!  Starting with today and this beautiful new Hydrangea stamp set, beautifully illustrated by Marcella Hawley!  Below is my card using this new stamp set...

The colors I used on my card come from the Color Throwdown challenge for this week, and the layout is the Retro Sketch #10.  I was SO inspired by Iwona's beautiful card using the same sketch, and so I CASE'd her just a little bit with my design and the way I did my sentiment.  I used the Deckled Rectangle Nestabilities on my design, coloring the hydrangeas on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Copics from the Hydrangea and New Leaves collections.  The papers I used are the new PB&J from Basic Grey, and the gingham ribbon is May Arts.  In the background is a Tim Holtz brick wall embossing folder.

Now, be sure to take note of this special announcement, too... Flourishes is having a big Spring Cleaning Sale through this Sunday!  You can take 15% off a huge variety of embellishments, Spellbinders dies, embossing folders, tools, and paper in the Flourishes online store!  Just be sure to enter the code SPRINGCLEAN when you check out!
