Flourishes New Release, Day Two

Hi all! It’s day two of  Flourishes’ April release and we have some news for those of you that fell in love with our Botanical Bookplates vol. 1 set released last month. Guess what? That set has a “sister!” Wait until you meet….

Pansies and Lily of the Valley in this set are as beautiful as those in real life! That’s what you get when you ink up this new set Botanical Bookplates  vol. 2 set, illustrated by Marcella Hawley. This set features two large focal images plus two smaller bookplate versions that are perfect for tags, or adornments on cards or creations. Add in 6 beautifully scripted sentiments, and you have the makings of beautiful creativity!  Botanical Bookplates Vol. 2 was designed to match our Tailor-Made Classic Bookplate Die for a perfectly cut and embossed image each and every time!

And here's my card for today's sneak peek using the iSpy Sketches #10 for this week...

I used this pretty yellow gingham paper, and some gray woodgrain to accent my pretty pansies, which were stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock, cut out with the Tailor-Made Bookplate die and colored with Copics from the following collections...

Would you like to win our new Botanical Bookplates vol. 2 set? All you need to do is leave some love in the form of a comment on the blogs below! Why? You need to try to figure out…..

One of the ladies on our link list below will be picking a name from the comments on her blog post today. We don’t know which one it is… so the more blogs you leave comments on, the more chances you have to win!
As you hop your way around the DT’s sits in blog land, some of the gals are using a BRAND NEW 123 CREATE KIT called Howdy Doody! This kit offers a dose of country charm. It features a 6x6 inch Howdy Doody paper pad by My Mind’s Eye, 4 pearl pins, white shimmer rhinestones, 1 yard of cotton crochet lace, 2 yards of ivory loop trim, 1 yard khaki ruffle trim, 18 inches ivory satin ribbon, 1 pack of latte pearls, and six white rose buds. Here’s a peek….

If all of that didn’t entice you, I am sure you’re going to want to stop by and see the handiwork of Flourishes finest designers! Hop on over and see….

Love the "triple play" on your card. More of something good is GREAT! The reversed arches really add a wonderful design element which points to the images. Super idea. Thanks for sharing with us.
