Hello friends! The weeks and the year are just flying by, and here we are on another Wednesday and it’s time for another
Color Throwdown challenge! It’s our last challenge for the year, and so we’re taking it easy on everyone this week…
For today’s challenge, all you have to do is create something Christmas-y in any colors! You can even share something you’ve already made and posted in the past month. BUT, please be sure to check out all the details for the challenge this week on the
CTD blog because there are a few modifications to the guidelines this time around.
So, I’ve been dying to show you my card for today… I actually made it way back on the first weekend in November when I was away on a stamping retreat weekend! I was so happy with how it turned out!
I found
this sketch from September on my Pinterest board as inspiration, and used the fabulous new
Merry & Bright stamp set and
matching Confetti Cuts die from
Reverse Confetti for my card design. The watercolor wash in the background uses Ranger Distress inks…. I
think I used
Pine Needles and
Iced Spruce, but like I said… I made this about 6 weeks ago! LOL I also used the
Reverse Confetti Winter Words Coordinates stamps to complete the “Joy to the World” phrase.
Please be sure to visit the
CTD blog today for all the details, and please visit my Throwdown sisters for more inspiration….

Have a great day!
I just had to pop over from the challenge blog to tell you how much I love this.
ReplyDeleteLove how the red ornament pops off the page against that water coloured background and the black and white banner strip.
Tammy, this card is just gorgeous! I love the soft watercolored background and the way it makes that bright Christmas light really pop off of the card!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Tammy. Love that big Christmas bulb... the color wash background looks great with the white embossed circles. Also love the striped paper.
ReplyDeleteLOVE this!!! I adore this stamp set from Reverse Confetti - you have showcased it beautifully on your card!!!! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteLOVE how you used this bulb stamp! Those embossed white circles along with the watercolored BG are such great details! Beautiful design!
ReplyDeletePlease find your "mojo" because I love following your blog on a daily basis. I see so much inspiration here and so enjoy seeing what you create. Please DONT stop card making. I'd be so disappointed if you do. I have to agree with your choices for your year of your favorites for 2015. I like each one too. Happy new year for 2016 to you Tammy.
