Hello – Deconstructed Sketch #158
Hello friends! I’m happy to be sharing another Deconstructed Sketch with you this week! Are you ready to give it a try?
I think this is a sketch you can have some fun with… LOTS of options for that center element, as you’ll see from the team members (linked below). And here’s my card…
Those layers were fun to experiment with… you can try all sorts of papers and patterns! I started out by embossing my Sweet Tooth card stock background with the Fishnet Cover-Up Die-Namics, then cut it out using the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics. On the Sour Apple card stock panel I stamped some polka dots in Sour Apple hybrid ink using DC Large Scale Backgrounds. On the Berrylicious card stock panel I stamped the BG Typewriter Text background in Berrylicious hybrid ink.
On the yellow card stock panel, I stamped the BG Gingham background with Banana Split hybrid ink. The Wild Cherry card stock flower was stamped with the BG Linen background stamp in Wild Cherry hybrid ink, and cut with the Blueprints 14 Die-Namics. The Sour Apple card stock leaves are also from Blueprints 14. I added some hemp cord, and a Lemon Drop button in the flower center, then finished by stamping the hello sentiment from the LJD Pretty Poppies stamp set in Steel Gray hybrid ink, and added some enamel dots.

ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty colour combo! Fantastic card!!
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully cheerful card! Love the bright colors. LOVE the hint of patterns in the background. Don't love that I had talked myself out of Blueprints 14, but that I see your use of the cute little flower and leaf - it's back on my wishlist!!
