Color Throwdown #300

CTD300 close-up
Hello stamping friends!  It's time for another Color Throwdown challenge, and this week we're amazingly on our 300th challenge!  Holy smokes, I can't believe it!  Whoda' thunk that we'd still be going strong after six years?  There are so many of you that have been a part of our success with your continued support.... THANK YOU!  From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

So... Vickie is our challenge hostess today with this great Summery color combo!  I LOVE shades of blue and orange together, so this challenge was very enjoyable for me to create this card...
Color Throwdown #300 with My Favorite Things new July Release products by Tammy Hershberger
One of the challenge teams I'm on is being sponsored soon by the wonderful folks at My Favorite Things, so I was incredibly lucky this past week to get a package of July new release goodies in my mail!  I freakin' LOVE this new Happy Die-Namics set... loved seeing it in the teaser posts, and was thrilled to find it in my package!  So it was a no-brainer to use it for my card today... I think this would be a perfect birthday card for a man, no?  I die-cut the Happy Die-Namics from Orange Fizz card stock, and mounted it with dimensional adhesive over a piece of Berrylicious card stock that was stamped with the BG Notebook Paper background in Berrylicious hybrid ink.  The "Wishing You" sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments stamp set was stamped in Nightshift Blue hybrid ink.  The "BIRTHDAY" sentiment comes from the new DC Happy Everything stamp set, and was also stamped in Nightshift Blue hybrid ink.  On the Nightshift Blue card stock panel, I used the MPD Small Brick Wall stencil to emboss... I really love how that turned out!  The Orange Fizz card stock back panel was die-cut with the Blueprints 13 Die-Namics, then I stamped the BG On the Diagonal background using Grout Gray hybrid ink.  (I like using the Grout Gray hybrid ink like this for a more-subtle color variation... sort of like a watermark ink, but a little more noticeable.)  To embellish the Berrylicious card stock panel, I die-cut Orange Fizz card stock with the LLD Accent It-Flags and Tags Die-Namics, and added a Nightshift Blue button tied with hemp cord.  I added a few enamel dots to finish the front of the card.
The inspiration for my card layout comes from the Sweet Sunday Sketch #226 for this week.
On the inside, I added...
