I guess you could say I was definitely in a picnic-mood when I made this card because I just came from a wonderful family reunion this past weekend! We had such a great time!
My card uses the new Birdie Brown stamp set from My Favorite Things called BB Every Day is a Picnic. What’s fun about this set is it also comes with matching Die-Namics dies, so you can cut out all those fun images… no more fussy cutting! I cut out all my images and colored with Copics on Copic X-press It Blending Card stock. On the center Razzle Berry cardstock panel I stamped the BG Gingham background with Cotton Candy premium dye ink, and on the Sour Apple cardstock base I stamped the BG Grid background with Grout Gray hybrid ink. The layout for my card was inspired by the sketch this week at the Paper Players challenge #201.
I added a sentiment from the stamp set, and a few other fun items on the inside…
Be sure to stop over at the Catered Crop blog for all the details on the new challenge, and play along! YOU could be our next Guest Designer!
