Flourishes Pre-Release Challenge

Hello everyone!  Are you ready to see what Flourishes has in store for July? Well, we are just about ready to take the lid off this release and show you some of the fun. And when we say FUN, we mean it! This is the Friday we love at Flourishes... not only are we buzzing with excitement to get ready for next week’s sneak peeks, but we usher in a challenge giving YOU an opportunity to win our July release!  HOW TO PLAY: Getting a chance to win Flourishes July Release is as simple as sketching it all out — that’s right — it’s a sketch challenge! Follow the layout in the graphic above and you’ll be in the running to win all four of our new releases for the month! Please remember, entries must be in by July 13th at 5:00 p.m. EST to be eligible. If you upload to Splitcoaststampers, please use the key word FLLCJUL12. And, don’t forget to link up your creation right here on the Flourishes blog using the Inlinkz link widget. Use Flourishes stamps if you have them — Flourishes entries will be counted twice! But, if you don’t have Flourishes, play along anyway... you could WIN some!


As you make the rounds, you’ll notice that some of our designers are using some of the sets that were just put on our retirement list! Check out their creations and then, stop by to see our retiring sets page HERE. Some of your favorites might be on the list so — get them before they are gone!  Including the Friendly Reminders set I've used on my card today!

I paired this soon-to-be-retired set with some Simple Stories papers, and colored my image on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Copics from the collections shown below.  I cut out the image with a Spellbinders Long Classic Rectangle and the little flags come from the Nested Lacey Pennants set.  I embellished with some stitching, a Prima flower, some Ivory cotton crocheted lace, leaf stick pins and Kaisercraft pearls (colored with an RV29 Copic marker).  The "Thank You" sentiment is from the Tag Lines stamp set.
