Welcome to day two of new release stamps from Flourishes! This next set in our new Blossom Collection features beautiful letters perfect for monograms, short sentiments, and even name cards! And, it offers the alphabet — from A to Z — in pure floral-embellished perfection!
Doesn’t the look of that letter just make you want to sigh? We think Marcella Hawley’s take on the alphabet is just divine and we’re sure you will agree! This 6″ by 8″ set is larger than the standard Flourishes set — offering a nice size monogram to create gorgeous correspondence, monogrammed items, or even home decor. This set is the perfect companion to sister sets Happily Ever After SS199 and Summer Blossoms SS197! If you like what you see, this set is available for pre-order now, just click HERE! And, you can buy all three in the New Release Bundle HERE! Keep in mind though, the bundle will only be available through June 22nd!
For my card, as luck would have it, I was in need of a very special anniversary card! The husband and wife who teach our Sunday School class will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary on June 24th, and I am taking up a collection from the class to get them a gift. And of course, I had to make a card for everyone to sign. Their last name begins with S, so I naturally used that for the card, and embellished a few of the flowers with some Kaisercraft pearls. I cut out the main panel with the largest of the Lattice Rectangle Nestabilities, sponged the edges with Antique Linen ink, then spritzed the whole thing with some antique gold shimmer spray. (Click on the photo below for a close-up... my photography isn't the greatest, but hopefully you can catch some of the shimmer!)
Oh, and do you see that beautifully scripted sentiment? Stay tuned tomorrow for more on that! :)
