Welcome to the first of our Noontime Challenges for Flourishes! Today's challenge is a new one... Pinspiration! The Flourishes girls have all become hooked on Pinterest, and finding things there that inspire us is what this challenge is all about! Today we want you to be inspired by the above photo whether it's the colors, textures, the jewelry, the ribbons... whatever you "see" when you look over the photo, create a card inspired by it. And one lucky random winner will get the entire February new release! (And you get a double-entry for using Flourishes stamps, don't forget!) Be sure to link your creation using the Inlinkz on the Flourishes blog, and if you upload to an online gallery, please use FEB12PIN as your keyword.
For my card, I went mostly with the colors and the elegance in the photo, although my shades of pink ended up being different. I colored this gorgeous image from the new Calla Lilies stamp set using Copics from the Peony and Fields collections and Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock. The papers I used on my card are the new Glitz "Pretty in Pink" that debuted at CHA and will be in the Flourishes online store VERY soon! I accented with some pretty pink silk ribbon, some black Kaisercraft rhinestones, and used a Nestabilities Circle and the Picot Edge Circle dies.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
