It's Tuesday again, so the girls over on the
Flourishes blog have another Timeless Tuesday challenge for you! This week, Beate is our hostess and she's challenging us to get out of the box... use your Nestabilities to cut out your image, but leave some of it hanging over the edge, just like I've done here on my card. This is a technique that I love to do, especially when my image is just a tiny bit too big for the die I want to use. It seems difficult at first, but trust me once you try it a few times, you'll be a pro! Check out the
tutorial on Splitcoaststampers for instructions.
For my card, I used the
Italian Garden stamp set, and some papers from Simple Stories. My image is stamped on
Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock in
Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics (collections shown below). I cut out my image with
Petite Oval Nestabilities, and matted on a
Labels 18 Nestabilities. My tag was cut out with the
Labels 11 Nestablities.
Stop and check out the inspiration from the Timeless Tuesday team...
Thanks so much for stopping by! I appreciate your visits and comments!
