Color Throwdown #162

Hey Color Throwdown fans, have we got some excitement for you today! Be sure to stop over at the Throwdown blog and help us welcome FIVE NEW MEMBERS to our team today!!! We're SO incredibly happy to have these talented ladies joining and I know you're gonna' love 'em, too!

I am the hostess for today's challenge, and chose this color palette based on the "Paris & Co." papers from My Mind's Eye. I had some initial reservations about these colors.... I thought maybe they were too spring-like for this time of year, but you'll see by checking out the Throwdown team members cards this week that it's a very versatile color combo.

For my card, I decided to use the Botanical Silhouette stamp set from Papertrey Ink and combined it with some of the "Paris & Co." papers and some old SU! designer paper. I was inspired by Debbie Olsen's sample with this set for the flowers and the idea to cut out a few for extra dimention.

For more inspiration with these colors, be sure and check out ALL the team members blogs today, and also our uber-fabulous October Guest Designer, Amy Sheffer!

C'mon and play along... we can't wait to see what you'll create with these colors!
