Our Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge for this week is being hosted by Makiko and her challenge is "calming waters." Use either an image that has water in it, or use water to create! If you play along, you could be in the running to win $10 to spend in the Flourishes online store! So be sure to link up your creation on the Flourishes blog and review the rules for your chance to win!
For my card, I went with a watery image, using the fishing boy from the Kids Play stamp set. I kept my design fairly simple so it would have a little more of a masculine-feel by just using some twill ribbon and papers from the "Breeze" collection from My Mind's Eye. I cut out my image with a Petite Oval Nestabilities, and matted with the coordinating Scalloped Ovals. I added a sentiment tag from the same stamp set, and embellished with an old fish hook!
