Flourishes Pre-Release Challenge - Colors of Fall...

Even though we don't want to admit it, Fall is in the air. And if you look down fashion runways, it’s here and trend reports are already raving about the new “in” colors! So, as we get ready to turn up the shades of the season in our closets, why not incorporate some of those “in” colors in our cards as well? So the graphic above shows the yummy colors that Pantone says are in for the fall season ahead! It's almost time for another fabulous round of new release stamps from Flourishes, which means today we have the Pre-Release challenge for you! By participating in this challenge, you can have the chance to win the entire new release.... three fabulous new stamp sets which we'll start sneak-peeking for you next Wednesday. Oh, and by WE I mean the Sr. Design Team at Flourishes.... the team which I am now a full-fledged member of!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so freakin' excited to get to share that news with my readers today! And I'm so honored to get to work alongside some of the most fabulous designers in the biz on this team!

For my card, I started out with four of the colors from the chart above... honeysuckle, cedar, coffee liquer and quarry. I found that the Vanity Fair paper pad from My Mind's Eye was a good match with those choices, so that's what I started working with along with the beautiful Hollyhocks stamp set from the August new release. My image is colored on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Copics from the Peony and Evergreen collections. Other supplies used are linked in my supply list below.
