For my card, I chose to use the newly released Wild for Watermelon stamp set. I simply adore this stamp set, and thought it would be fun to give my watermelon wedge a pink-tinge instead of red to better match my card. My watermelon is colored on Flourishes Classic Ivory cardstock with Copic markers (the Dogwood and Green Grass collections). I colored an extra "slice" of the watermelon and mounted it on pop-dots for added dimension. My card layout is based on Heather's Watermelon card from last week! I just loved the "frame" she added behind her watermelon image and the layout of the card!

ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like my watermelon card from last week. I think yours is stunning girly. The coloring and pretty paper along with the gingham ribbon is amazing. That LO is one of my favorites for a horizontal card. I have used it many times...it works so well with many images too. :)
