Timeless Tuesday #125 ~ For a Friend

Hello everyone! I hope you had a happy 4th of July weekend! We're back this week with another Timeless Tuesday challenge, and this week Heather is our hostess! I just love the challenge she chose.... make a card for a friend, near or far, just be sure to include the word "friend" somewhere in the sentiment.

I decided to pull out my neglected Seasonal Wreaths stamp set from Flourishes, and ink up the sunflower wreath. Sunflowers are one of my most favorite Summer flowers! I suppose one could argue that they're more a Fall flower, but they do tend to bloom in late Summer, don't they? :) My sentiment on the tag comes from the Butterflies and Blossoms stamp set. I colored my image with Copic markers (some from the Sunflower collection) on Flourishes Classic White cardstock, and paired it with some "Hello Luscious" designer paper from Basic Grey. I used Iwona Palamountain's Saturday Sketchbook challenge for the layout. My image was cut out with a Nestabilities circle, and layered with another circle and the lacey circle.
Our team is a little shorthanded this week due to some family crisis', so we asked Iwona to join us for added inspiration! And we welcome a new Guest Designer for July, Shannon White! Be sure to check out their blogs linked below for inspiration...

Shannon White, July Guest Designer

Stop by the Flourishes blog for all the details so you can play along! YOU could be the lucky winner of $10 to spend in the Flourishes online store. Plus we're always on the look-out for our next Guest Designer, so show us what you've got!

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today! Have a great week!

  15. I love the diecut edge, ribbon, and that beautifully coloured image. That ribbon really is an attention getter though, I love gingham ribbon and this one looks like silk so I am obsessing over it just a bit.
