Hearts in Bloom - TSG115

The challenge this week on the There She Goes team is being hosted by Karen Giron, and she wants us to try using fabric on our creations! I honestly have only used fabric (not including felt) on a card once before, using a wide piece of fabric to make a bow. So I really had to get my wheels turning today for this challenge.

My husband is very hard on the jeans he wears to work everyday, and I do a lot of repair work on them! But sometimes there's a pair that I just can't fix anymore, so I save them to use for making patches for repairs. So for today's challenge I pulled out one of my "spare" pairs of his jeans and cut a denim scalloped border with my Cuttlebug!

My image and sentiment are from the Blossom by Blossom stamp set, colored with Copic markers. I used some Echo Park designer paper, and some seam binding for a bow (thanks Bar!)

Check out the details for this challenge by visiting the TSG blog, and play along! You could win some moolah to spend in the TSG online store!

Happy Monday.... thanks for stopping by!

  1. Super cute Tammy! I love that you used old jeans because I used fabric from belts that came with pants I bought, haha! Love the image and your coloring!

  5. Tammy, I think this is one of the cutest cards you've ever made! I love blue & yellow together, and denim is just one of the nicest blues! Pair that with polka dots and scallops and it's a winner in my book!
