Hello, and welcome to my stop on the Rubbernecker Blog Hop today! There are some awesome new stamp sets available at Rubbernecker, and the Red Hot Mommas are out to show you some of them today! Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and check them all out! (links are posted below!)
The recent new additions to the Rubbernecker collections include silhouette flowers and weeds, some really neat vines, and some fashionistas, too! In addition to new stamps, a visit to the RN website will show you that Dave has recently lowered prices! (How often do you hear about that happening these days?) Be sure to stop by soon and check out the new stamps, and great deals!
For my first card today, I have used sketch #85 from the Clean & Simple Stamping blog, and some new October Afternoon Thrift Shop paper that I just got. I used some of the new silhouette weed stamps for this card, although I think these stamps are too pretty to be weeds! My sentiment is from the Fall Trilogy stamp set.
For my second card, I used Jen's Sketch for You to Try for the layout, and just thought some pretty yellow and purple would look good together with these flowers. To ink up these flowers, I colored directly on the rubber with Copic markers, then spritzed the stamp with Copic blending solution before stamping to get this watercolored effect. The "Friend" sentiment is from the Fall Trilogy set.
Now, be sure to hop around (there's no special order) to all the Rubbernecker Red Hot Momma's blogs and see what they've created with the new stamp sets! Two lucky winners out of all the comments are going to get their choice of any one complete collection of the new releases.... the flowers, weeds, vines or fashion ladies! You can't beat that, right? So, hurry up.... get hoppin'!
