Well, finally March 1st has arrived and I get to share with you the fun news that I am back in the Kitchen for the next month! YAY! I was chatting with Maria recently (Kitchen Sink Stamps wonderful owner) and mentioned how much I have missed working with KSS, and she invited me to join the rest of the crew as a Guest Designer for the month of March, so here I am!
And I'm especially excited today to get to show you this beautiful new stamp set will be available for purchase tomorrow in the Kitchen Sink store! Are these lilacs not GORGEOUS? Oh my wow, I could not believe how stunning these were as I stamped! Now, I know you know... I am a self-proclaimed "hater" of the color purple. I have no use for purple... I find it hard to work with and just don't care for it. The only exception to that rule is lilacs, as you can see here!
Now, if you keep up with the Kitchen Sink Crew you know that there is always a challenge going on each month and March is no exception. You can win Kitchen Sink gift certificates by playing along! The challenge for this month is masking, just like what I did here. I started by first stamping the leaves, then cut a mask for them and stamped the lilac on the left. Then I cut a mask for the lilac, left the leaf mask in place, and stamped the lilac on the right. Easy-peasy and it makes Maria's already stunning, realistic images even more beautiful!
I used Susanna's awesome sketch from the Saturday Sketch challenge at Paper Craft Planet for my layout, but took a little liberty and moved the sentiment.
This lilac set, as well as several others will be available for purchase beginning tomorrow in the Kitchen Sink Store. AND Maria is having a pre-release sale today just for Kitchen Sink blog readers, so if you order today and use the code TAMMY15KSS you can save 15% on your purchase! So click on the link below to hurry on over to the Kitchen Sink store and start shopping!
The Kitchen Sink Crew members have wonderful creations of the new release stamps to share with you today too, so please be sure to stop by their blogs...
So, many thanks for stopping by today! I hope you'll share in my excitment over getting to spend some time back in the Kitchen this month! Actually, this whole month is going to be jam-packed with other exciting things too, so I hope you'll come along for the ride!
Have a great day!
