Color Throwdown #71 with MAGNOLIA!

Yippee, it's time for another Color Throwdown, and I've been so anxious for this one to arrive because our sponsor for today is Magnolia-licious! I just love Magnolia stamps, and unfortunately haven't had the chance to indulge and purchase any, so I was thrilled to get the Tilda with Candy Cane stamp I used on my card to work with! (I can't find this particular stamp on the website... perhaps it is currently sold out.) Danielle is our hostess for the Throwdown today and she chose these fabulous colors, inspired by the Wassail paper line from Basic Grey. Use all the colors or just use a combination of them for your creation! One lucky person is going to win some stamps from Diana at Magnolia-licious, and someone else is going to be chosen as Featured Stamper, so put your best foot forward! Be sure to stop by the Throwdown blog for all the details!

So here's my sweet Tilda with my favorite of all Christmas candies... a candy cane! She is colored with Copics, and little Stardust Gelly Roll pen on her wings for sparkle. Since she is stamped on cream cardstock, I used a white gel pen to color in the stripes on the candy cane and make them stand out more. I took inspiration from Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge #50 for my layout, but had to change the circle to an oval to accomodate my image.
We have a new Guest Designer for the Throwdown for the month of December and she is Carol Longacre of Our Little Inspirations. Carol has been a very faithful participant in many, many Throwdown challenges and we just always love the great detail she puts into her designs. We're thrilled to have her joining us this month!

My Throwdown sisters have some wonderful Magnolia-licious inspiration for you today with these colors, so be sure to stop by and check them out!

I hope to see your name in Mr. Linky for this week's Throwdown! Thanks for stopping by today!
